NAVY

I.E. Pacific, Inc.*, Chula Vista, Calif.; Valley Crest, San Diego, Calif.; and A&B Landscaping*, San Diego, Calif., are being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity, multiple awardee construction contract. The total basic contract amount is not to exceed $15,000,000. I.E. Pacific, Inc., is being awarded the first task order of $4,444,000, including a minimum guarantee of $5,000, for work at Silver Strand, Chesterton and Gateway off-base family housing sites, all located in San Diego, Calif. The remaining two contractors are being awarded the minimum guarantee of $5,000 each. The contract provides for landscaping and irrigation installation/retrofit to provide a complete and fully functional centrally controlled irrigation system as well as other incidental related construction work such as tot lot equipment; site walkways; wall and fences; recreational court surfacing and paving, overhead shade structures; drainage pipe, inlets, and associated equipment; mow curbs; site furnishings; erosion control planting and irrigation, and site lighting. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (90%), and other as yet to be determined locations within the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada (10%), and is expected to be completed by March 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with eight proposals solicited and three offers received. These contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-98-D-5927).

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $13,523,452 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the United Kingdom FY 00 Trident II (D5) program support. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is excepted to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0042).

Raytheon Co., Electromagnetic Systems Div., Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $13,444,872 firm-fixed-price contract to procure 84 integrated multi-platform launch controller units for the F/A-18E/F aircraft (43) and the Air Force's B-1B aircraft (41). Work will be

performed in Goleta, Calif., and is excepted to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-99-C-1051).

AIR FORCE

Cubic Defense Systems Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $23,892,507 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 24 pods, six sets of display and debriefing equipment, three control and computation substations, associated data, spares, software, support, and test equipment for the Global Positioning System Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation Program in support of the F-15 and F-16 aircraft, and training systems. This effort supports foreign military sales to Taiwan. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 2004. Solicitation issue date was Feb. 24, 1999. Negotiation completion date was March 24, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-99-C-0002).

Boeing North American, Inc., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $47,102,065 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for development of software to integrate the Joint Standoff Weapon and Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile onto the B-1 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Aug. 1, 2002. Solicitation issue date was April 2, 1997. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96-C-2075-P00032).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $42,600,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for initial spares and related data applicable to the F-16 aircraft. A portion of this effort will support foreign military sales to Belgium, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and other countries to be determined. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2006. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 1, 1998. Negotiation completion date was March 4, 1999. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42620-99-C-0027).

Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense System, Manassas, Va., was awarded on Mar. 26, 1999, a $6,232,782 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for addition of new external interfaces and upgrades to existing interfaces in support of the Department of Defense Global Transportation Network. Expected contract completion date was Feb. 22, 1999. Air Mobility Command Contracting Flight, Scott AFB, Ill., is the contracting activity (F19628-95-C-0029-P00123).

ARMY

Hercules Aerospace Co., Radford, Va., is being awarded an $18,450,000 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAA09-94-G-0012 for the manufacture of 90,000 MK 90 propellant grains for the HYDRA 70 Rocket System. Work will be performed at the

Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 5, 1999. The U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

Record Steel and Construction Inc.*, Meridian, Idaho, is being awarded $7,968,854 (base year total) as part of an $8,465,619 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract to design and construct a complete and usable 4,620 sq. meter, 140-person dormitory. Work will be performed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 10, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 83 bids solicited on Dec. 7, 1998, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACA67-99-C-0024).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Drug Co., Middletown, Pa., is being awarded an estimated $54,939,780 modified-requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred five proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 29, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
