DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ebrex Food Services, The Netherlands, is being awarded a $30,057,867 indefinite-quantity contract for full line food distribution under the Prime Vendor program. Two hundred thirty-three proposals were solicited, and four were received. Work will be performed in Pokomoke City, Md.; Alicante, Spain; Cesena, Italy; Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof, Germany; and Azores, Portugal, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-98-D-2949).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, Inc., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $12,600,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for engineering and manufacturing development to incorporate the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module to the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM). This module will enhance the security of the missile's guidance system. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin's plant in Orlando, Fla. (41%), and Raytheon Company's plant in Fullerton, Calif. (59%). The work is expected to be completed by April 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-96/C-0002, P00047).

ARMY

Alliant Techsystems Inc., Hopkins, Minn., was awarded on March 31, 1999, a $7,741,754 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE30-97-C-1008, for production of M830A1, 120 mm, high explosive anti-tank multi-purpose tank cartridges. Work will be performed in Totawa, N.J. (22%); Lancaster, Pa. (14%); Radford, Va. (12%); Middletown, Iowa (12%); Hopkins, Minn. (37%); Chanhassen, Minn. (1%); Cicero, Ill. (1%); and Coachella, Calif. (1%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 23, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

BRH Garver Inc., Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $300,000 increment as part of a $19,837,855 firm-fixed-price contract for channel excavation, backfill, storm drains, cellular mats, metal and polyvinyl chloride sheet piling and landscaping. Work will be performed in Houston, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 1, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 73 bids solicited on Jan. 15, 1999, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, Texas, is the contracting activity (DACW64-99-C-0015).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $21,760,933 modification (#P00034) to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5197 to exercise options for 238,048 man-hours to perform AEGIS combat system baseline upgrade developments and critical experiments. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an $8,942,028 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0054 for the creation and updating of existing technical manuals, drawings, interactive electronic technical manuals, technical databases and various data and documentation media to support V-22 aircraft organization level maintenance. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (67%), and Fort Worth, Texas (33%), and is expected to be completed by July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $7,314,599 modification (#P00032) to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5197 to exercise options for 80,016 man-hours to perform AEGIS combat system baseline upgrade developments and critical experiments. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Foster Wheeler Environmental Corp., Lyndhurst, N.J., is being awarded a $5,795,680 cost-plus-award-fee delivery order for environmental remedial action for the over-the-bank disposal area/Area A downstream at Subase, Groton. The work under this remedial action provides all materials, labor and equipment to remove and dispose pf all contaminated materials, and on completion of removal activity, the site shall be restored to grade, and vegetated with native grasses and trees. The basic contract amount was for $250,000,000. Work will be

performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 30 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Northern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Lester, Pa., is the contracting activity (N62472-94-D-0398).

Allied Signal Inc., Allied Signal Engines, Phoenix, Ariz., is being awarded a $5,182,980 cost-plus-fixed-fee requirements contract for engineering services in support of the Allied Signal TF40B series gas turbine component improvement program, which is an engine installed on U.S. and allied Navy vessels. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-D-4035).

Marconi Systems Technologies, Inc. Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $875,350 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level of effort contract to provide engineering support, and test and evaluation support for the AN/SWG-3 Tomahawk weapon control system (WCS), the advanced Tomahawk WCS, and Foreign Military Sales versions of Tomahawk (WCS) for Great Britain (2%). This support includes the establishment of a test approach and the development of test specifications. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative total contract value to $8,594,045. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through the Commerce Business Daily and via the internet, and three offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-99-C-2003).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

Motorola Incorporate, Government Systems Operation, Scottsdale, Ariz., is being awarded a firmed-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract modification for an estimated $219,000,000 for the purchase of Iridium equipment (telephones, pagers and accessories) and associated airtime services to be homed through the Government Gateway in Hawaii. This service gives the government access to the Iridium network, a system of low earth- orbiting satellites, providing portable/mobile worldwide communications capability. This is a sole source award, and provides service and equipment through March 31, 2002. Funding will be cited on individual customer delivery orders.
