BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE ORGANIZATION

Computer Sciences Corporation of Moorestown, N.J., was awarded on April 2, 1999, a $24,856,532 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification for scientific, engineering, and technical assistance support. Work will be performed at Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source action. This contract modification will be awarded using fiscal year 1999 research, development, test and evaluation funds. The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (HQ0006-95-C-0006).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tennessee Apparel*, Tullahoma, Tenn., was awarded on April 2, 1999, a $9,404,258 indefinite-quantity contract for trousers. Fifty proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 10, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-99-D-0318).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems, Inc., Ft. Worth, Texas, was awarded on April 2, 1999, a $27,110,622 face value increase to a cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide for Phase 3 development of the Operational Flight Program for the Modular Mission Computer on the F-16 aircraft. This effort supports foreign military sales to Belgium, Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands. The work is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98/C-0030, P0001).

Calspan SRL Corp., Buffalo, N.Y., was awarded on April 2, 1999, a $10,000,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for development of modifications to the Intelligence Analysts Associate (IAA) system to better meet user needs. The work is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (F30602-99/D-0050).

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Berkeley, Mo., was awarded on April 2, 1999, a $50,521,788 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for low rate initial production of 2,527 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kits. The work is expected to be completed by January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-94/C-0003, P00138).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta Ga., is being awarded a $9,079,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for three Weather Reconnaissance Modification Kits applicable to the WC-130 aircraft for the Air Force Reserve. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is January 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95-C-2055-P00022).

ARMY

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $7,027,469 modification to contract DAAH01-99-C-0028 for the FY99 Patriot engineering services option award for Saudi Arabia. Work will be performed in Burlington, Mass. (6%); Huntsville, Ala. (7%); Andover, Mass. (5%); Tewksbury, Mass. (65%); El Paso, Texas (1%); Bedford, Mass. (15%); and Orlando, Fla. (1%), and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 21, 1998. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

ENCORP International Inc., Fairfield, Ohio, is being awarded $11,248,428 as part of a $13,912,808 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a bead-blast facility, paint booth, renovation of two buildings, and operation and maintenance for the country of Egypt. Work will be performed in Helwan, Egypt, and is expected to be completed by April 15, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 31 bids solicited on Nov. 10, 1998, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA78-99-C-0011).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Kiewit Western Co., Omaha, Neb., is being awarded a $12,023,252 firm-fixed-price contract for Phase 2 of Perry Creek Flood Protection. Work will be performed in Sioux City, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by June 15, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 99 bids solicited on Jan. 7, 1999, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACW45-99-C-0021).

NAVY

AMSEC Corp., a subsidiary of Science Applications International Corp., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $100,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering and technical support of tactical and non-tactical computer displays and peripherals. The services to be ordered support equipment/systems at shore facilities, on U.S. Navy ships and aircraft, U.S. Coast Guard vessels and aircraft, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army equipment, and designated countries with Foreign Military Sales agreements with the United States. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of the entire contract to $87,765,437. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Va., and other areas specified in the contract's task orders, and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $100,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through the internet, and four offers were received. The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dam Neck Detachment, Dam Neck, Va., is the contracting activity (N63394-99-D-0403).
