NAVY

Allison Engine Company, Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded an $8,470,863 cost-plus-fixed-fee requirements contract for engineering services in support of the Allison 501 K series marine gas turbine component improvement program and the Allison 501 K series marine gas turbine set product improvement program. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-D-4034).

AIR FORCE

Boeing North American, Inc., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $9,769,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the acquisition of 500 horizontal stabilizer spars in support of the B-1B Horizontal Stabilizer Replacement Program. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is November 2001. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 23, 1998. Negotiation completion date was April 6, 1999. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-99-C-0129).

Allied Signal Inc., Tempe, Ariz., is being awarded a $13,465,322 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for repair of components of the Avionics Intermediate Shop in support of the F-15 aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 1999. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 10, 1998. Negotiation completion date was March 25, 1999. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-99-D-0219).
