AIR FORCE

Raytheon Systems Company, Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $12,203,915 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for Phase III Demonstration and Evaluation for the High Altitude Endurance Unmanned Air Vehicle Common Ground Segment supporting the military utility assessment. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 5, 1998. Negotiation completion date was March 30, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (MDA972-96-C-0006).

NAVY

J. A. Jones Management Services, Charlotte, N.C.; Benham Constructors, Inc., Oklahoma City, Okla., and Joseph J. Henderson & Sons, Inc., Gurnee, Ill., are being awarded a $16,948,503 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity design build order contract. J.A. Jones Management Services is being awarded two of the seed projects in the amount of $4,888,204 for the Applied Instruction Building, and $5,998,611 for the Gas Turbine School. Benham Constructors, Inc. is being awarded the Small Arms Building project for $5,961,687. The remaining contractor, Joseph J. Henderson & Sons, Inc., is being awarded the minimum guarantee of $100,000. The total basic contract amount is not to exceed $100,000,000 (base year and three option years). Work will be performed at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill., (90%) and other sites within the state of Illinois including, but not limited to, Fort Sheridan, Naval Air Station Glenview and Reserve Centers (10%), and is expected to be completed by April 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively negotiated with 48 proposals solicited and 17 offers received. These three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. The Engineering Field Activity Midwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Great Lakes, Ill., is the contracting activity (N68950-98-D-0151/0152/0153).

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $16,000,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for an unpriced new procurement, which provides long lead material required for the FY 00 follow-on production of the Trident II (D5) missile system. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0100).

Black Construction Corp., GMF, Guam, is being awarded an $11,563,295 firm-fixed price contract for additions/renovations to elementary/middle school (Building 4175) and high school (Building 200) at U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, Guam. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of the total contract to $15,288,000. Work will be performed in Marianas Islands, Guam, and is expected to be completed by October 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 24 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Officer in Charge of Construction, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contracts Office, Marianas, is the contracting activity (N62766-98-C-0201).
