DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

The Bookmark, Inc.*, Lenexa, Kan., is being awarded a maximum $15,000,000 indefinite-quantity contract for periodicals. Two hundred proposals were solicited, and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by May 5, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0400-99-D-E009).

NAVY

CSC Professional Services Group, Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a ceiling amount $27,805,753 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide support for the MK 41 vertical launching system. Taskings will include system safety analysis of computing systems, computer program development for maintenance, verification of validation of computer programs, fleet maintenance/in-service engineering, and systems engineering. Work will be performed in Fredericksburg, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $252,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured in the Commerce Business Daily and via the internet with two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Div., Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-99-D-2030).

Marconi Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a ceiling amount $23,307,380 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide support for the MK 41 vertical launching system. Taskings will include system safety analysis of computing systems, computer program development for maintenance, verification of validation of computer programs, fleet maintenance/in-service engineering, and systems engineering. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $252,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Computer Science Corp., Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a ceiling amount $3,818,488 cost-plus-award-fee, level-of-effort contract to provide engineering and technical support for the maintenance and development of AEGIS tactical computer programs. The contractor shall review, analyze, code, inspect, test, and deliver computer program code and documentation in support of various land-based AEGIS sites, ships, shipyards, contractor facilities and foreign military sales. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $127,325,958. This contract combines support services for the U.S. Navy (98%) and the governments of Japan (1.6%) and Spain (.4%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va. (90%); Bath, Maine (2.5%); and Moorestown, N.J. (2.5%), and is expected to be completed by July 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $1,145,546 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet, and one offer was received. The Dahlgren Division Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-99-C-2005).

AIR FORCE

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $9,954,800 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 164 fan blade modification kits applicable to the F101 engine on the B-1 aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Aug. 31, 2002. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 12, 1998. Negotiation completion date was April 22, 1999. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-97-G-0002-0315).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Linthicum Heights, Md., is being awarded a $6,100,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for one shipset of solid state recorders applicable to the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program. The recorders store weather data recorded by satellite sensors for subsequent downlink to ground stations. Expected contract completion date is October 2000. This is a modification to an existing contract; therefore, no solicitation date was issued. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95-C-0014-P00075).

ARMY

The Ages Group, Boca Raton, Fla., is being awarded a $9,926,152 modification to a Tri-Service/Cost Reimbursable/Firm Fixed Price contract to provide FY99 Active Army & Reserve Funding for C-12 Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS). Work will be performed in Boca Raton, Fla., and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited by the Commerce Business Daily on June 30, 1995, and five bids were received. The U. S. Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM), St. Louis, Mo., is the contracting activity.
