Alliant/Atlantic Foodservice Inc. Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $12,000,000 firm- fixed-price contract for full line food distribution. Sixty proposals were solicited, and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by May 28, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. WareOnEarth, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $5,632,548 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for engineering services to support the smart-base project office/smart-link project office in new technology insertion. Work will be performed in McLean, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through a broad agency announcement, and 87 offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-99-D-0063).
