DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Medical Corporation, Orange, Calif., is being awarded an $18,173,000 indefinite-quantity modified-requirements contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Lake Zurich, Ill., and is expected to be completed by July 18, 2000. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7126).

AIR FORCE

Applied Data Technology Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,713,365 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F08626-98-C-0021/P00004, to provide for development of modifications to incorporate data recording capability into the Air Combat Training Systems at Eielson and Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 2000. Solicitation issue date was Feb. 19, 1999. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Dyn Marine Services of Virginia, Inc., Reston, Va., is being awarded an $83,703,278 firm-fixed-price with reimbursables contract for the operation and maintenance of Military Sealift Command's oceanographic fleet of survey ships. This contract contains an option, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $144,511,294. Work will be performed on-board the survey worldwide, and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 50 proposals solicited and nine offers received. The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-99-C-2100).

Etec Systems, Inc., Hayward, Calif., is being awarded an estimated $14,200,000 cost-reimbursable, cost-sharing contract for research, development and engineering processes that will be used by industry to mass produce advanced semiconductors. Work will be performed in

Hayward, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through a Broad Agency Announcement with 77 offers received and 25 were selected for award. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-99-C-8624).

Silicon Valley Group, Inc., Wilton, Conn., is being awarded, an estimated $7,870,007 cost-reimbursable, cost-sharing contract for research, development and engineering processes that will be used by industry to mass produce advanced semiconductors. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. (90%) and San Jose, Calif. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through a Broad Agency Announcement with 77 offers received and 25 were selected for award. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-99-C-8625).

ARMY

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Environmental Chemical Corp.*, Burlingame, Calif., is being awarded a $6,000,000 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price service contract DACW41-94-D-9003, for work and services required for vicinity property pile removal, Middlesex Sampling Plant Project. Work will be performed in Middlesex, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 11, 1999. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity.

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $4,600,000 increment as part of a $5,120,595 firm-fixed-price contract for groin construction and beach renourishment. Work will be performed in Tybee Island, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 29, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 78 bids solicited on Jan. 29, 1999, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity (DACW21-99-C-0032).
