DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ameriqual Packaging,* Evansville, Ind., is being awarded a $14,503,741 fixed-fee plus cost contract for unitized group ration. Ninety-four proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Evansville, Ind., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. ARC-Diversified, Cookeville, Tenn., is being awarded a $8,765,251 fixed-fee plus cost contract for unitized group ration. Ninety-four proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Cookeville, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Labatt Food Service,* San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $38,330,258 fixed-fee plus cost contract for unitized group ration. Ninety-four proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. PYA/Monarch Atlanta, Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $32,166,476 fixed-fee plus cost contract for unitized group ration. Ninety-four proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Mullins, S.C., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Sysco Food Service of Atlanta, College Park, Ga., is being awarded a $6,186,088 fixed- fee plus cost contract for unitized group ration. Ninety-four proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in College Park, Ga., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Wornick Company,* McAllen, Texas, is being awarded a $27,184,181 fixed-fee plus cost contract for unitized group ration. Ninety-four proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in McAllen, Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. NAVY

Environmental Chemical Corp.*, Burlingame, Calif., is being awarded a not-to-exceed maximum of $50,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a wide range of services for performing investigations and response actions at sites that potentially contain unexploded ordnance or ordnance related materials. This contract has a guaranteed minimum of $20,000 (base period). Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps installations and other Government agencies in the United States and its territories, and is expected to be completed by July 2000 (base period). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 44 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-99-D-1800).

Patriot Contract Services LLC, Walnut Creek, Calif., is being awarded a $28,712,201 firm-fixed-price, reimbursables contract for the operation and maintenance of 11 government owned Large Medium Speed Roll-On/Roll-Off ships used for military exercises, and surge sealift operations in the event of war or other national contingencies. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $69,627,460. Work will be performed on-board ships worldwide, and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 80 proposals solicited and 16 offers received. The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-99-C-5302).

Raytheon Systems Company, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $28,317,556 firm-fixed-price, not-to-exceed, letter contract for the production of six OT-134A continuous wave illuminators (CWI), installation and checkout spares, technical and installation manuals, training, and field engineering services for the Republic of Korea Navy (100%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The OT-134A CWI provides the radio frequency energy required for proper operation of the SM-2 IIIA missile guidance system. Work will be performed in Waterloo, Ontario-Canada (43%); Sudbury, Mass. (37%); Portsmouth, R.I. (10%); and Chula Vista, Calif. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-C-5387).

Firth Construction Company, Inc.*, Baton Rouge, La., is being awarded an $8,367,100 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an ordnance railroad realignment at Naval Weapons Station, Charleston, S.C. The work to be performed provides for construction of a new portion

of rail including two new rail car holding yards and connecting rail, an exterior concrete transfer site, truck scale, concrete paving, exterior site lighting, lightning protection, earth berms, and incidental related work. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and is expected to be completed by January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 73 proposals solicited and eight offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-97-C-0968).

Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,333,799 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0257 to definitize spare parts and components for Tomahawk missiles. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (84%) and Andover, Mass. (16%), and is expected to be completed by May 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $842,477 would have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Bundt Corp., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded $500,000 as part of a $20,000,000 (base year total) firm-fixed-price contract with a cumulative total of $60,000,000 if all options are exercised, for construction services including remediation, repairs and construction of real property. Work will be performed in Phoenix**, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by July 17, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 151 bids solicited on Feb. 16, 1999, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (DACA09-99-D-0021).
