DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Lockheed Martin IR Imaging Systems, Lexington, Mass., is being awarded a $5,216,345 indefinite-quantity contract for optics detectors. Two proposals were solicited and two were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 14, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0440-99-D-0616).

NAVY

Booz-Allen and Hamilton, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded an $8,355,558 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-99-C-1011 to exercise an option for an estimated level-of-effort of 97,000 man-hours for research, design, development, integration, installation, test and evaluation, fielding, analysis, maintenance, material procurements, training, and logistics support of communications-electronics advanced technology systems. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md. (5%); St. Inigoes, Md. (2%); and various military bases throughout the United States (93%), and is expected to be completed in September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a request for proposals with 89 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

W. R. Chavez Construction, Inc.,* San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,318,000 task order contract under a multiple awardee design build contract for design and construction of a Live Fire and Survivability Test and Evaluation Complex. The task order provides for site development, roadways, site utilities, control and instrumentation systems, a test pad, two buildings, surveying, drainage, electrical power distribution, fiber optic data transmission cable and incidental related work. Work will be performed in China Lake, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with four proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-99-D-6203).

AIR FORCE

Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon and Eckhardt, Inc., Irving, Texas, is exercising an option on a $38,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, F41689-97-D-0500-P00009, to provide for FY2000 professional advertising services in support of Air Force Recruiting Service, Randolph AFB, Texas. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Technical Services Inc., Herndon, Va., is exercising an option on a $49,888,010 fixed-price-incentive-firm contract, F41689-96-C-0500-P00073, to provide for FY2000 operation and maintenance support for the T-37, T-38, and T-1A aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity.

Powerware Corp., Raleigh, NC., is exercising an option on a $125,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract, F04606-96-D-0164-P00008, to provide for 113 (estimated quantity) Static Uninterruptible Power Supplies Systems, associated support, and data, for the Air Force and other government agencies. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 19, 2000. Solicitation issue date was April 29, 1996. Negotiation completion date was June 25, 1996. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity.
