NAVY
Bollinger Shipyards Lockport, Lockport, La., is being awarded a $5,093,282 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-2205 for the design, fabrication, assembly, conversion and testing of stern launch and recovery systems and associated training for three patrol coastal (PC) Cyclone class ships. PC ships are primary long-range coastal patrol and drug interdiction craft, which support various Naval Special Warfare boat and craft operations. Work will be performed in Lockport, La., and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
