DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Swift & Company, of Greeley, Colorado was awarded on Nov. 17, 1999, a $8,119,336, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to provide fresh pork products in various commissaries located in DeCA's Midwest Region. Work will be performed at Louisville, KY; Marshalltown, IA; and Worthington, MN, with deliveries of fresh pork products to various commissaries located DeCA's Midwest Region with a contract completion date of Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifteen firms were solicited and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Contract Management Business Unit, Subsistence Division, 5258 Oaklawn Boulevard, Hopewell, Virginia 23860-7336. (DECA02-00-D-0014).

Smithfield Packing Company Incorporated, Smithfield, Virginia was on Nov. 17, 1999, a $16,255,479, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to provide fresh pork products in various DeCA commissaries located in Midwest Region and Eastern Region, Southern Area. Work will be performed at Tar Heel, North Carolina with deliveries of fresh pork products to various DeCA commissaries located in DeCA's Midwest Region and Eastern Region, Southern Area with a contract completion date of Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifteen firms were solicited and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Contract Management Business Unit, Subsistence Division, 5258 Oaklawn Boulevard, Hopewell, Virginia 23860-7336. (DECA02-00-D-0013).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Coastal Pacific Food Distributors, Inc.*, Stockton, Calif., is being awarded a $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for full-line food distribution under the Prime Vendor program. Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 13, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-00-D-2961).

ARMY

Raytheon, Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $6,290,000 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH01-98-C-0073, for a PATRIOT Remote Launch Communication Enhancement upgrade. Work will be performed in Bedford, Mass., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 26, 1998. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Marconi Aerospace Electronic Systems, Inc., Lansdale, Pa., is being awarded a $42,000,000 letter contract for the fabrication of 84 ALQ-99 Band 9/10 transmitters for the EA-6B aircraft. Work will be performed in Lansdale, Pa., and is expected to be completed by November 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0178).

Klune Industries, Inc., Spanish Fork, Utah, is being awarded a $5,290,341 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 237 BRU-32 ejector bomb racks and associated equipment production for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Spanish Fork, Utah, and is expected to be completed by August 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 25 proposals solicited and seven offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-00-C-0197).

AIR FORCE

Rockwell International Corp., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $124,153,831 option to a firm-fixed-price contract, F34601-00-C-0042, to provide for 175 Pacer CRAG (Compass, Radar and Global Positioning System)/Ground Collision Avoidance System upgrade kits, 212 Interphone Modernization System upgrade kits, associated warranties, data, and program support for the program for the KC-135 aircraft. Approximately 5 percent of this effort supports foreign military sales to Singapore and Turkey. Expected contract completion date is March 2001. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity.

ECC International Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $486,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, F33657-00-D-2040. The contractor will participate in a program to design, develop, test, produce, modify, upgrade, deliver and sustain complex aircrew, maintenance and system specific training systems through June 2006. This effort will include training devices, courseware, student training, software, hardware, visual/sensor systems and databases, and contractor logistics support. The program includes four other companies already awarded contracts. Funds will be obligated up to the program maximum indicated above as

individual delivery orders are issued. Delivery orders will be issued subject to government evaluation according to technical, performance, and pricing criteria established in the contracts. The Air Force can issue delivery orders up to the total program maximum indicated above, though actual requirements may be significantly less than that amount. Expected contract completion date is July 2006. Solicitation issue date was Jan. 23, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 9, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
