AIR FORCE

DME Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $16,090,759 option to a firm-fixed-price contract, F33657-99-C-0015-P00003, to provide for 171 Reduced Vertical Separation Minima Kits for the KC-135 aircraft. These kits provide a high accuracy altimetry system that allows aircraft to fly at reduced vertical spacing. Expected contract completion date is April 30, 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $143,134,259 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract, F04701-97-C-0042-P00022, to provide for satellite engineering support through September 2003 for the Milstar communication satellite program. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2003. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 19, 1999. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Rogers Quinn (R-Q) Construction*, Bonsall, Calif.; Ceres Environmental, Inc.*, Brooklyn Park, Minn.; Clauss Construction*, Lakeside, Calif.; West Coast Contractors of Nevada*, Reno, Nevada; and Reyes Construction, Inc.*, Pomona, Calif., are being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple awardee construction contract. The total basic contract amount is not to exceed $50,000,000 (base year and two option years). The work to be performed provides for site and building demolition, minor site construction, minor architectural engineering of sites, including site work, utility, street and sidewalk work, and other associated work necessary to clear and restore sites, deconstruction of and recycling/waste disposal at facilities at various locations within Arizona, California, Nevada and New Mexico. The original contract, awarded on 19 May 1999, was rescinded. R-Q Construction is being awarded the minimum guarantee of $50,000. The remaining four contractors will be awarded the minimum guarantee of $50,000, based on the availability of funds. Work will be performed at Navy and Marine Corp Installations primarily in Southern California (90%), and other as yet to be determined locations within Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico (10%). Work is expected to be complete by May 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 126 offers solicited and 25 offers received. These five contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple

awardee contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-99-D-6608/6609/6637/6663/6664).

General Dynamics, Armament Systems, Pittsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $ 7,334,129 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-5189 to exercise an option to provide guided missile directors, Mark 82 Mod 0, with director control, Mark 200 Mod, maintenance assist modules, and production test center site support (integration, logistic and field engineering support services). With this modification the total cumulative value of this contract is $41,808,738. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $5,432,656 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0146 for the transition and shutdown of the F/A-18A/B/C/D production lines. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by October 2000. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Miller Excavating Services Inc.*, St. Rose, La., was awarded on Nov. 29, 1999, a $10,000 increment as part of a $6,789,270 firm-fixed-price contract for a hurricane protection levee, Lake Pontchartrain, La., and vicinity, High Level Plan, St. Charles Parish, north of Airline Highway. Work will be performed in St. Rose, La., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 3, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 82 bids solicited on Sept. 17, 1999, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (DACW29-00-C-0017).

Stewart & Stevenson Services Inc., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded a $341,767,117 modification to firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract DAAE07-98-C-M005. This is funding for the third program year of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) production. This action will call-up the delivery of a quantity of 2,316 FMTV (1,796 vehicles and 520 trailers). The 1,796 vehicles include 176 of 2 1/2 ton vehicles and 1,620 of 5-ton vehicles. The 520 trailers include 260 of 2 1/2 ton trailers and 260 of 5-ton trailers. Also the funding includes PY3 program support and the appropriate amount of Federal Retail Excise Tax for vehicles subject to tax. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 2, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
