NAVY

The Boeing Company, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $20,751,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-99-C-1228 to exercise an option for the integration, installation, and test of the multi-functional display system into 16 E-6B production aircraft; and integrated logistics support, spares, and data for E-6B modifications. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash. (50%) and Wichita, Kansas (50%), and is expected to be completed by April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Pacific Criticare, Inc., Waipahu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $6,424,660 requirements-type contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 26, 2000. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-96-D-7116).

Ashland Distribution Company, Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded an estimated $5,929,129 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for fuel system icing inhibitor. Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-00-D-0751).

ARMY

Monarch Construction Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $10,018,000 firm-fixed-price contract with a cumulative total of $11,312,000 (if all options are exercised), for a new three-story addition to Building 620, containing computer labs and offices with security and communications, and options for a parking lot, metal roof and systems furniture. Work will be performed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by July 23, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 88 bids solicited on Sept. 9, 1999 and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACA27-00-C-0003).

Enron Federal Solutions Inc., Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $2,335,155 increment as part of a $25,151,557 firm-fixed-price-services contract for the privatization of four utility distribution systems (natural gas, electric, potable water, and waste water). The contractor will upgrade, repair, and replace each system as needed and perform the operation and maintenance of the systems thereafter. Work will be performed at Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2009. Of the total contract funds $2,335,155 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 11 bids solicited on Jan. 22, 1999, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, N.Y., is the contracting activity (DACA51-00-C-0001).
