NAVY

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $10,578,700 requirements contract for 590 afterburner flameholders for the F-404 engine used on the F/A-18A/B aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00393-97-D-005M).

Eagan, McAllister Associates Inc., Lexington Park, Md., is being awarded a $6,815,333 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, task order contract to provide engineering support services, including test and evaluation, systems engineering and integration, operational systems engineering, logistics, and configuration management support services. Services are required to support a wide variety of electronic equipment, systems, and subsystems, under various programs, including air traffic control; radiation detection, indication, and computation; meteorology; navigation and environmental systems; visual and infrared sensor systems; undersea warfare; and, ship systems integration. This contract contains four one-year option periods, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $40,921,622. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C. (86.2%); Tampa, Fla. (4.6%); St. Inigoes, Md. (4.6%), and Panama City, Republic of Panama (4.6%), and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $50,000 will expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 38 proposals solicited and one offer received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-00-D-3814).

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $27,455,927 modification to a fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract, F22657-94-C-2155-P00039, to provide for five F117/PW100 spare engines applicable to the C-17 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $1,975,500,000 indefinite-deliver/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for technical services from January 2000 through December 2014 for the Component Improvement Program supporting the F110 engine on the F-16 aircraft, the F101 engine on the B-1 aircraft, the F118 engine on the B-2 aircraft, the J79 engine on the KC-135 aircraft, the TF34 engine on the A-10 aircraft, the TF39 engine on the C-5 aircraft, and the J85 engine on the T-38 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2014. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-D-2050).
