ARMY

Systems & Electronics Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $8,730,692 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-99-C-M011, to exercise the option for low rate initial production of 26 Striker vehicles and 27 Bradley Fire Support Vehicles (M7) mission equipment packages. Work will be performed in Sanford, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 9, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $17,646,720 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-98-C-N002, to exercise the option to incorporate the assembly labor cost to convert 70 sets of vehicle material to full Abrams Integrated Management XXI vehicles for the 21st century. Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio (77%); Scranton, Pa. (20%); and Muskegon, Mich. (3%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 23, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

GUYCO Inc., Lampasas, Texas, is being awarded $12,165,828 (base year total) as part of a $13,313,613 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the Force XXI Soldier Development Center - Phase II. This general instruction training facility will include a resource center, an interactive network, an operations center, a library, a production studio, administration area, and an elevator. The contractor shall demolish 40 temporary buildings, to include hazardous material abatement; site work includes an access road. Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas, and is expected to be completed by May 3, 2001. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Nov. 2, 1999, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (DACA63-00-C-0002).

TSI Inc., Shoreview, Minn., is being awarded a $5,050,296 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price requirements contract DAAE20-98-D-0016, for 908 Protection Assessment

Test Systems (M41) in support of the M40/M42 Chemical/Biological Protective Masks. Work will be performed in Shoreview, Minn., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 15, 1997. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

C. R. Pittman Construction Co. Inc., New Orleans, La., is being awarded a $50,000 increment as part of an $18,501,454 firm-fixed-price contract for the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project, Barataria Pumping Station Phase II. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 98 bids solicited on Oct. 7, 1999, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La., is the contracting activity (DACW29-00-C-0021).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control-Orlando, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $58,469,713 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F33657-99-D-2046-0001, to provide for 25 Low Altitude Navigation Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) Navigation pods applicable to the F-16 aircraft, and associated test support and equipment. Expected contract completion date is September 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $39,023,382 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 49 upgrade kits applicable to the AN/ALQ-131 electronic countermeasures system on the F-16 aircraft. These kits will upgrade the system from the Block I to Block II configuration. This effort supports foreign military sales to Egypt. Expected contract completion date is December 2001. Solicitation issue date was July 1, 1999. Negotiation completion date is Nov. 18, 1999. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-00-C-0043).

NAVY

Boeing North American, Inc., Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded a $47,375,508 fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide material and technical support services in support of TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5), necessary to conduct an inertial equipment repair program for the ships inertial navigation system (SINs); electrostatically supported gyro monitors (ESGM); electrostatically supported gyro navigators (ESGN); related components; refurbishment/conversion of ESGNs; fabrication of ESG spinners and electronic equipment console reburbishment/conversion material/assemblies; and spares. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds in the

amount of $30,594,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0006).

Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, Inc., Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $45,055,248 firm-fixed-price option for three AN/SQQ-89(V)15 ship systems, three AN/SQS-53C(V) transducer arrays, maintenance assistance modules, installation and checkout spares, on-board repair parts, and AN/SQQ-89(V)15 TTE for the surface ship ASW combat system program office (PMS411). Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-96-C-6300).

HND/Hawaiian Dredging - Hale Moku, (a joint venture), Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded $17,697,265 to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise Option 2 for design and construction of 96 three-bedroom family housing units; totlots/playlots; and recreational facilities at Hale Moku, Naval Base, Pearl Harbor. Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 35 proposals solicited and three offers received. The basic contract was awarded 18 June 1998 for $11,597,265 and Option 1 was awarded on 11 December 1998 for $26,042,735. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-97-C-1352).

Wyle Laboratories, Inc., Hampton, Va., is being awarded a $10,218,556 ceiling amount indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity completion contract for engineering, maintenance, operational and technical support services at the large cavitation channel test facility at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Memphis, Tenn. The support services provided are in areas of hydrodynamic/hydroacoustic testing of propulsors and hull forms for the Navy. Work will be performed in Memphis, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet and two offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-00-D-0004).

Raytheon Service Company, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $9,256,165 time and materials contract for repair of an estimated 1,600 parts for the Sidewinder missile, SPS-49 radar system, NATO Sea-Sparrow and WSC-6 communications system and four other weapon systems. Work will be performed in Chula Vista, Calif. (63%); Norfolk, Va. (23%); and Goleta, Calif. (14%), and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00104-98-G-A400).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,880,651 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0147 to exercise an option for integrated logistics support/sustaining support services for the E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (92%); Herndon, Va. (6.5%); and San Diego, Calif. (1.5%); and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0147).

Raytheon Systems Company, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $5,144,089 cost-plus-fixed-fee service contract for engineering and technical support that will supply hardware reliability and maintainability service for various aircraft radar and other avionics equipment. This contract contains four options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $27,485,041. Work will be performed in Robin Air Force Base, Ga., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet and one offer was received. The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-00-D-0005).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

American Apparel, Inc.**, Selma, Ala., is being awarded a $6,332,634 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for woodland camouflage enhanced hot weather trousers. Thirty-five proposals were solicited and nine were received. Work will be performed in Fort Deposit, Ala., and is expected to be completed by March 14, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO100-00-D-0306).

Propper International Inc.**, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $14,858,410 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for woodland camouflage enhanced hot weather trousers. Thirty-five proposals were solicited and nine were received. Work will be performed in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico; and Lajas, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed by March 14, 2001.
