DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Allegiance Healthcare Corporation, McGaw Park, Ill., is being awarded an $6,250,000 firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for distributor for the Laboratory Integrated Delivery System program. Work will be performed in Anchorage, Alaska; Bedford, Mass.; Bessemer, Ala.; DePew, N.Y.; Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Jessup, Md.; Columbia, Md.; Denver, Colo.; Hammond, La.; Romulus, Mich.; Earth City, Mont.; Edison, N.J.; Englewood, Colo.; Grand Prairie, Texas; Hayward, Calif.; Kapolel, Hawaii; Indianapolis, Ind.; Memphis, Tenn.; Miami, Fla.; Waukegan, Ill.; Champlin, Minn.; Montgomery, N.Y.; McGaw Park, Ill.; Obetz, Ohio; Omaha, Neb.; Ontario, Canada; Overland Park, Kan.; Redmond, Wash.; Salt Lake City, Utah; San Antonio, Texas; Solon, Ohio; Stone Mountain, Ga.; Tampa, Fla.; Tempe, Ariz.; Warrendale, Pa.; Wilsonville, Ore.; and The Woodlands, Texas and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-99-D-7303).

ARMY

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $10,568,000 increment of a $72,492,448 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee/level-of-effort contract DASG60-91-C-0146, for the operation and maintenance of the Airborne Surveillance Testbed for FY2000; an addition of options to the contract for continued operation through FY2002. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 7, 1999. The U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Electronics & Missiles, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded $5,675,951 as part of a $12,700,000 firm-fixed-price/cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for contractor engineering services/logistics engineering services on location and in support of the AH-64 Apache Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor and Electro-Optic Bench programs. Work will be performed at Fort Campbell, Ky. (35%); Fort Hood, Texas (20%); Illesheim, Germany (30%), and Korea (15%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $5,675,951 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 3, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command,

Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0059).

United Defense, Limited Partnership, Steel Products Division, Anniston, Ala., is being awarded $11,486,018 as part of a not-to-exceed $22,972,037 firm-fixed-price contract for the overhaul and conversion effort of the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier vehicle. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 15, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-M004).

Emerson Construction Co. Inc., Temple, Texas, is being awarded $8,877,910 as part of a $9,227,310 (total if options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an Equipment Consultation Site/Maintenance Building/Warehouse. Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 21, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 19 bids solicited on Nov. 5, 1999, and seven bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity (DACA-00-C-0004).

NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $13,523,986 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-5460 to provide 14 MK 73 NATO Seasparrow solid state transmitter production units and related spares. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (20%); Sudbury, Mass. (18%); Lexington, Mass. (3%); Portsmouth, R.I. (2%); Waterloo, Ontario (52%); and Fyshwick, Australia (5%), and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Systems Company, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $6,919,335 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development of piezoelectric single crystals for electromechanical transduction devices. This single crystal technology will be used in Naval sonar systems. This development will enhance existing Naval sonar systems and make new systems concepts feasible. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $7,680,642. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $684,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a broad agency announcement with two offer was received. The Office of Naval Research, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00014-99-C-0288).
