DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Milcare Inc., Zeeland, Mich., is being awarded a $10,000,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for integrated modular medical support systems. Twenty-eight proposals were solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 29, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-99-D-8001).

Refinery Associates of Texas, Inc.*, New Braunfels, Texas, is being awarded a $5,008,500 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Eight proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Texas City, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-00-D-0478).

ARMY

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $67,895,731 modification to cost-plus-award-fee contract DAAH01-99-C-0028, for FY2000 PATRIOT engineering services for the countries of Germany, The Netherlands, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Taiwan. Work will be performed in Burlington, Mass. (6%); Huntsville, Ala. (7%); Andover, Mass. (5%); Tewksbury, Mass. (65%); El Paso, Texas (1%); Bedford, Mass. (15%); and Orlando, Fla. (1%), and is expected to be completed by Jan 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 21, 1998. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Contrack International Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $20,906,797 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of security barracks and transient bachelor quarters for the U.S. Naval Support Activity in Manama, Bahrain. Work will be performed in the country of Bahrain (90%), and in Arlington, Va. (10%), and is expected to be completed by March 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 22 bids solicited

on Oct. 14, 1999, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA78-00-C-0005).

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $146,804,510 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-00-C-N001, for 100 Abrams M1A1 Egyptian tank kits. Work will be performed in Lima, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 6, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, Defense Systems Segment, Naval & Maritime Systems, Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $79,086,361 firm-fixed-price contract for FY 00 requirements of three shipsets of AEGIS weapons system OT-188/SPY-1D(V) transmitter groups, fire control system MK99 MOD 3 ancillary equipment, data, spares, provisioned item order, provisioning technical documentation, and technical manuals for U.S. Navy requirements. The three shipsets will be installed aboard Arleigh Burke class destroyers as follows: DDG 96, DDG 97, and DDG 98. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (80%) and Sudbury, Mass. (20%), and is expected to be completed by February 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va, is the contracting activity (N00024-00-C-5137).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $25,142,861 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-99-C-1069 to definitize the procurement for the design, development, and manufacture of two SH-60R test articles, and to procure two additional SH-60R test articles. This effort includes converting a total of four government furnished equipment SH-60B aircraft into the SH-60R configuration, as well as non-recurring engineering, integrated logistics support management, standard depot level maintenance and service life extension. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. (90%) and Troy, Ala. (10%), and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. is being awarded a $1,235,027,721 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for six F-22 Production Representative Test Vehicle II aircraft, associated equipment, and instrumentation. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin's Marietta, Ga. plant (35 percent), at their Fort Worth, Texas plant (32.5 percent) and at The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (32.5 percent). Expected contract completion date is December 2002. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity. (Contract # F33657-97-C-0030, P00012)

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. is being awarded a $275,400,000 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for advanced procurement parts in Low Rate Initial production of ten F-22 aircraft and associated equipment. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin's Fort Worth, Texas plant (41 percent) and at The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (38 percent). Expected contract completion date is December 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity. (Contract # F33657-99-C-0036)

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. is being awarded a $115,166,281 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for CY 2000 sustaining labor in support of the F-22 aircraft Production Representative Test Vehicle and production program. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin's Marietta, Ga. plant. Expected contract completion date is December 2000.
