DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Joseph Webb Foods*, Vista, Calif., is being awarded a $26,500,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Seventy-five proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by Jan. 5, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-00-D-2912).

ARMY

Boeing Defense & Space Group, Helicopter Division, Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on Dec. 22, 1999, $167,650,000 as part of a potential $335,300,000 firm-fixed-price contract for 9 International Model CH-47SD Chinook Helicopters, including maintenance and flight training, publications plus a five-year revision service, and initial spare parts to support fielding, for Taiwan. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 11, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0044).

Kalyn/Siebert, Limited Partnership, Gatesville, Texas, is being awarded a $5,163,550 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-95-D-R003, for 70 Tactical Semi-trailers with van bodies (M129A4, 12 ton). Work will be performed in Gatesville, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 24, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 10 bids solicited on July 11, 1994, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

  • Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $34,196,538 cost-plus-award-fee level-of-effort option exercise for 374,075 man-hours to perform computer program ship integration and validation for AEGIS Combat System Baseline
  • programs. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by

September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-5197).

EG&G WASC, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $13,666,458 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-6411 to exercise an option to provide program management, acquisition, engineering and logistic support services for the Virginia Class Submarine Program Office (PMS 450), the Submarine Electronics Systems Program Office (PMS 401), and the Submarine Combat Systems Program Office (PMS 425). Work will be performed in Arlington, Va. (94%); Manassas, Va. (5%); Middleton, R.I. (.5%); and Norfolk, Va. (.5%), and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
