NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, Marlborough, Mass., is being awarded a $15,936,394 cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to procure 166,859 staff-hours to support engineering services to design software and hardware improvements and upgrades to the extremely high frequency, super high frequency, submarine high data rate and global broadcast service satellite communications terminals and antennas. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $49,048,546. Work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass. (97%), various locations in Calif. (2%), and St. Petersburg, Fla. (1%), and is expected to be completed by January 2003. This contract was not competitively procured. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-98-R-4008).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $6,093,316 modification to a fixed-price-incentive contract, F19628-97-C-0001-PZ0029, to definitize configuration updates for two Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar Systems (JSTARS) aircraft. Expected contract completion date is May 31, 2002. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity.
