AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $28,579,076 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F33657-95-C-2055-P00036, to provide for conversion of one C-130J aircraft to the C-130J-30 configuration, and associated spares, test support, and data. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,490,365 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, F08635-00-C-0024, to provide for repair support through January 2001, one lot of support equipment, and one lot of Service Life Prediction Plan effort of the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile. Approximately 9 percent of this effort supports foreign military sales to Belgium, Finland, Greece, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2001. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 19, 1997. Negotiation completion date was March 27, 1999. Air-to-Air Joint Systems Program Office, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

WPC, Inc., Gig Harbor, Wash., is being awarded a $7,356,968 firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for the Underwater Equipment Laboratory at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Acoustic Research Detachment, Bayview. The work to be performed provides for the design and building construction of a two-story, 2,520 square meter acoustic test and analysis center (ATAC) building, building utilities and features necessary to support consolidation of all computer resources; a 69 stall ATAC parking lot; a 33 square meter, single story security building to be used as the security control point near the front gate, associated security building parking area; a front gate relocation, with perimeter fence and access road realignment; demolition of eight existing buildings, and site work and incidental related work. Work will be performed in Bayview, Idaho, and is expected to be completed by January 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively negotiated with eighty-five (85) offers solicited, sixteen (16) proposals received and award made to multiple contractors. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $100,000,000 (base period and two

option years). The multiple contractors, four in number, may compete for delivery orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple awardee contract. The Engineering Field Activity Northwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Poulsbo, Wash., is the contracting activity (N44255-97-D-0100).
