DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Interstate Steel Supply Company/Metals USA, Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a $6,195,387 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustments indefinite quantity contract for metals and metal products under the Prime Vendor program. Six hundred thirteen proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa.; Warminster, Pa.; York, Pa.; Canton, Mass.; Manchester, Conn.; Kennesaw, Ga.; Kent, Wash.; Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; and Plantation, Fla., and is expected to be completed by March 9, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO500-98-D-0015).

Black Beauty Resources, Inc., d/b/a AmeriQual Packaging*, Evansville, Ind., is being awarded a $63,082,500 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for meals, ready to eat and humanitarian daily rations. Three proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Wornick Company*, McAllen, Texas, is being awarded a $58,465,488 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for meals, ready to eat and humanitarian daily rations. Three proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. SOPAKCO Packaging, Mullins, S.C., is the being awarded an $86,021,970 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for meals, ready to eat and humanitarian daily rations. Three proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $93,721,957 cost-plus-incentive-fee, award-fee contract for the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) phase of the vertical takeoff and landing tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (VTUAV) program. The EMD phase consists of one VTUAV system, technical manuals, operations security program, operational and maintenance training, and pre-operational support. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (78%); Owego, N.Y. (6%); Salt Lake City, Utah (5%); Big Flats, New York (4%); Baltimore, Md.(4%); and Sparks, Nevada (3%), and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 50 firms participated in a pre-proposal conference and three offers were received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0277).

Titan Linkabit Wireless, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,970,608 firm-fixed-price order for the purchase of 16 single-channel communications sets and seven dual-channel communications sets used on various aircraft for the country of Germany (100%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-99-G-023G).
