DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bindley Western Drug Co., Middletown, Pa., is being awarded a $143,000,000 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. Work is expected to be completed by March 12, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7018).

Exxon Company, U.S.A. (EUSA), Houston, Texas, is being awarded an estimated $113,016,884 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Two hundred seventy-one proposals were solicited and twenty-three were received. Work will be performed in Baton Rouge, La., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-00-D-0476).

Equilon Enterprises LLC, Houston, Texas, is being awarded an estimated $32,012,750 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Two hundred seventy-one proposals were solicited and twenty-three were received. Work will be performed in Mobile, Ala., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-00-D-0475).

Multi-Unit Chain Distribution Services, Inc.*, Duluth, Ga., is being awarded a $7,150,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for full line food distribution. Work will be performed in Windsor, Conn., and Augusta, Maine, and is expected to be completed by March 4, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-97-D-2915/2916).

P & S Metals and Supply Co.*, Las Vegas, Nev., is being awarded a $5,574,040 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for iron and steel structural shapes. Thirty-two proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 2, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0500-00-D-0033).

AIR FORCE

Intersil Corp., Palm Bay, Fla., is being awarded a $14,314,064 ($6,626,572 government portion; $7,687,492 Contractor Portion) cooperative agreement to provide for development of a capacity to produce silicon on insulator wafers for use in microchips and other microelectronic applications. This was a program research and development announcement. There were three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is March 3, 2004. Solicitation issue date was March 26, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Feb. 23, 2000. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-99-2-5319).

Raytheon Support Services, Burlington, Mass., is being awarded an $9,853,119 (estimated) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for base operating support services from May-September 2000 (orientation April 2000) in support of Johnston Atoll in the Pacific Ocean. This effort includes personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, administration and management required to support chemical weapons storage and chemical demilitarization on Johnston Island and associated islands. Expected contract completion date is September 2000. Solicitation issue date was July 31, 1999. The 15th Contracting Squadron, Hickam AFB, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (F64605-00-D-0013).

ARMY

General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $11,824,254, for 18 spare engines (401C) complete with Hydro-mechanical Control Units and Digital Electronic Control, for the U.S. Navy. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 20, 1997. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAJ09-97-D-0196).

General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $10,270,500 for 16 engines (701C, installed, complete) for Apache AH-64D helicopters, without warranty and without containers, for Singapore. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 20, 1997. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAJ09-97-D-0196).

Honeywell, Solid State Electronics Center, Plymouth, Minn., is being awarded a $1,500,000 increment as part of a $9,930,475 cost reimbursement, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development and demonstration of embedded Giant Magneto-Resistive Non-volatile Radiation Hard Memory. Work will be performed in Plymouth, Minn., and is expected to be completed by March 5, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was a broad agency announcement on May 15, 1998, and 55 bids were received. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity (DTRA01-00-C-0002).

NAVY

ECC International Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $7,549,090 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-98-C-0052 to exercise an option for 43 engagement skills trainer subsystems and associated logistics support for the U.S. Army. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by March 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-98-C-0052).
