ARMY

Primex Technologies Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $28,181,300 modification to firm-fixed-price letter contract DAAE30-95-C-0086, for 120 mm M829A2 armor-piercing, fin-stabilized, discarding sabot-tracer (APFSDS-T) cartridges. Work will be performed in Red Lion**, Pa. (63.44%), and St. Petersburg, Fla. (36.56%), and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 26, 1994. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N. J., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Raytheon Company, Naval and Maritime Integrated Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded a $26,426,089 cost-plus-inventive-fee contract for the development of the Integrated Combat Weapon System. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I. (61%), and Manassas, Va. (39%), and is expected to be completed by January 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-00-C-6303).

Burns and McDonnell, Kansas City, Mo., is being awarded an $8,790,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction of a 22,099 square foot F-18 aircraft corrosion control facility at the Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort. Work will be performed in Beaufort, S.C., and is expected to be completed by May 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 14 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-99-C-1021).

Titan Linkabit Wireless, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $8,189,646 ceiling-price-order under basic ordering agreement to purchase 35 (V)3 modems, 29 (V)3 power amps, and 10 display entry panels used on various aircraft. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 2001. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-99-G-023G).
