NAVY

Raytheon Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $183,043,349 multi-year firm-fixed-price production contract to provide 45 MK 49 guided missile launching systems for the Rolling Airframe Missile program to cover FY 00-04 program requirements. The work will be performed in Louisville, Ky. (50%) and Ottobrunn, Germany (50%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity. (N00024-00-C-5482)

Litton/PRC, Reston, Va., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee (completion form) contract for engineering and technical services in support of test site design and naval hull, mechanical and electrical test site support. This contract has a potential total value of $23,810,686. Funding in the amount of $500,000 will be placed against contract at award. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (80%) and Reston, Va. (20%), and is expected to be completed by April 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Commerce Business Daily with 63 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity. (N65540-00-D-0064)

Black Construction Corp., GMF, Guam, is being awarded a $9,846,800 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction work for whole house revitalization of 70 housing units at Lockwood Terrace housing area, Phase IV, U.S. Naval Activities, Guam. Work will be performed in Guam, Marianas Islands, and is expected to be completed by June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and 10 offers received. The Officer in Charge of Construction, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Marianas, is the contracting activity (N62766-99-C-2949).

ARMY

The University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a $19,340,000 modification to cost contract DAAH04-95-C-0008, for acquisition of an upgrade, and maintenance of high performance computing resources located at the Army High Performance Computing Research Center, at the University of Minnesota. Work will be performed at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn., an educational/nonprofit organization. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract. The U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, Md., is the contracting activity.

Condor Systems, Simi Valley, Calif., is being awarded a $16,983,200 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-98-C-H005, for 90 Shortstop Electronic Protection Systems (SEPS), to include associated antennas, plus two spare SEPS units with associated antennas. Work will be performed in Simi Valley, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 7, 2000. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $6,849,194 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-94-C-N853, to exercise options for common hardware/software items for Project Manager Army Tactical Command and Control Systems computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 21, 1994. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded $5,767,398 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery contract for truck body and engine parts. Eleven proposals were solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by 2008. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
