NAVY

Raytheon Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $117,919,775 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 75 Standard Missile-2 (SM-2) Block IIIB All-Up Rounds (AURs); 74 SM-2 Block IIIB Ordnance Alteration kits to upgrade SM-2 Block II/III missiles to SM-2 Block IIIB; 142 AN/DKT-71A telemetric data transmitting sets; 89 SM-2 Block III/IIIA AURs; section level spares; shipping containers and handling equipment. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (61.1%) and for Spain (14.9%); Netherlands (10.5%); Japan (7%); and Germany (6.5%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (69.96%); Andover, Mass. (23.69%); Camden, Ark. (2.76%); Farmington, N.M. (1.28%); Austin, Texas (1.96%); and Dallas, Texas (.35%), and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-00-C-5399).

Advanced Interactive Systems, Seattle, Wash.; Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif.; PULAU Electronics Corp., Orlando, Fla.; SIGCOM, Inc., Greensboro, N.C.; and TRW, Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract. The total contract amount is not to exceed $28,000,000 across all five contracts with a guaranteed $50,000 to each at time of award. The contract is for the development, integration, and fielding of Military Operations on Urban Terrain/Restrictive Terrain instrumentation systems/infrastructures for the U.S. Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla.; San Diego, Calif.; and Greensboro, N.C. and is expected to be completed by May 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. These contracts were solicited under a multiple award electronic request for proposals with 20 proposals solicited and five offers received. Under this multiple award, the five contractors will compete for individual task orders under the terms and conditions of a multiple award contract. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-00-D-0024, N61339-00-D-0025, N61339-00-D-0026, N61339-00-D-0027, and N61339-00-D-0028, respectively).

ARMY

ECI Construction Inc.*, Shawnee Mission, Kan., is being awarded a $7,525,860 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of KC-135 Squadron Operations Aircraft Maintenance Unit #3. Work will be performed at McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, Kan., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 122 bids solicited on March 22, 2000, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity (DACA41-00-C-0007).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Burlington Performance Wear, Clarksville, Va., is being awarded a $6,431,670 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for polyester/wool tropical cloth. Eleven proposals were solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-00-C-0324).
