DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Strategic Procurement Services Incorporated, Fairfield, N.J., was awarded a $200,000,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for integrated supply chain management for the military automotive fleets in the Continental United States under the Virtual Prime Vendor program on May 17, 2000. Work will take place at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; Fort Irwin, Calif.; Camp Lejeune, N.C.; Fort Stewart, Ga., and Fort Hood, Texas, and is expected to be completed by 2010. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Columbus, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (SP0750-00-D09714/15/16).

NAVY

ARINC, Panama City Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $35,972,040, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technological and systems engineering services to support diving and salvage, special warfare and air mine warfare. Work will be performed in Panama City Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by May 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 55 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Panama City, Fla., is the contracting activity (N16331-00-D-0019).

NavCom Defense Electronics, Inc. El Monte, Calif., is being awarded a $8,751,885 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-99-C-1131 for 52 AN/UPM-155 radar test sets for the Navy (5), the Army (46) and the Government of Portugal (1). This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (8 %); U.S. Army (90%); and the Government of Portugal (2%); under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in El Monte, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $13,495,096 modification to cost contract DAMD17-99-C-9099, for a demonstration to evaluate an integrated system of disease management among a population of veterans, military, Medicare and Medicaid patients in South Texas. This is a definitization of a letter contract. Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 1, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 20, 1999. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Frederick, Md., is the contracting activity.

DATRON Inc., Intercontinental Manufacturing Division, Garland, Texas, is being awarded a $13,601,438 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAA09-98-C-0074, for 7,640 BDU-45 paint bomb bodies (component of BDU-45 500 lb. Navy practice bomb), and 30,245 BDU-50 bomb bodies (component of BDU-50 500 lb. Air Force practice bomb). Work will be performed in Garland, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 20, 2000. The U.S. Army Industrial Operations Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.
