ARMY

Motorola Inc., Systems Solution Group, Scottsdale, Ariz., is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of a $49,742,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for acquisition of the Joint Services Work Station (JSWS). The JSWS is a real-time, multi-sensor command, control, communications, computers and intelligence system which acquires, processes, displays and disseminates data from multiple real-time sensors including moving target indicator/synthetic aperture radars, unmanned aerial vehicles, imagery intelligence platforms, signal intelligence, electronic intelligence, and other sources. The system includes a robust suite of communications equipment for secure radio, satellite, and landline communications. Work will be performed in Scottsdale, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2004. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 3, 1999. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-00-D-L005).

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $21,347,750 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH01-97-C-0097, for 511 Stinger Reprogrammable Microprocessor Missile Rounds, 14 Captive Flight Trainers and 4 Telemeters. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (79%), and Farmington, N.M. (21%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 19, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Record Steel & Construction Inc.*, Meridian, Idaho, is being awarded an $8,799,428 firm-fixed-price/task-order contract for construction of a 114-room dormitory. Work will be performed at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were six bids solicited on Nov. 15, 1999, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACA87-00-D-0202).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $45,000,000 (not-to-exceed) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the following in support of the Radar System Improvement Program (RSIP) for the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft: a partial APY-2 Group B radar kit and special test equipment for the Avionics Integration Support Facility at Tinker AFB, Okla; and modification of two Transmit Angel Controls and ten thermal assemblies to the RSIP configuration. Expected contract completion date is March 2003. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-99-C-0042).

NAVY

Healy Tibbitts Builders, Inc., Aiea, Hawaii, is being awarded a $21,960,000 firm-fixed-price contract for dredging, demolition, removal and disposal of existing berthing wharves and construction of new wharves at Naval Station Pearl Harbor. Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with 31 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-98-C-1365).

NDI Engineering Inc., Thorofare, N.J., is being awarded a $17,615,514 potential value indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for engineering and technical services in support of submarine and surface craft hull, mechanical and electrical systems. Work will be performed aboard ships worldwide, and is expected to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $100,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through the Commerce Business Daily with 33 proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Purchase Branch Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N65540-00-D-0080).

Litton Systems, Inc., Data Systems Div., Agoura Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $17,099,103 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 10 shipboard air traffic control AN/UPX-24(V) Interrogator Sets, four retro kits, seven installation and checkout spares and associated technical data. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0379).

Lockwood Greene E&C, LLC, Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $7,398,000 firm-fixed-price design build contract for construction of C-130J Flight Simulator Facility, Keesler Air Force Base. The facility will enclose two C-130J full motion flight training simulators, and also contain non-motion task simulators, briefing rooms, classrooms, parts storage, maintenance shop, computer rooms, and offices. Work will be performed in Biloxi, Miss., and is expected to be completed by January 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with 38 proposals solicited and 11 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-99-C-0882).

Sanders, a Lockheed Martin company, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $5,702,254 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of five shipboard Antenna Group OE-120()/UPX units and associated installation and checkout spare kits and technical data. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-99-C-1663).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

AllEnergy Marketing Company, Waltham, Mass., was awarded on June 8, 2000, a $6,562,122 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for natural gas. Twenty-seven proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-00-D-7600).

Shamrock Foods Company, Phoenix, Pa., is being awarded a $6,100,000 firm-fixed-price contract, IQC, for prime vendor food and beverage support to DoD and non-DoD customers in the Arizona Zone, Southwest region. Fifty-seven proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 2, 2001. The Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-00-D-2934).
