ARMY

Leo Burnett, USA Inc., Chicago, Ill., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, fixed-price-award-fee contract in the amount of $383,483,000. This contract will be for the acquisition of supplies and services customarily performed by a full-service and/or consortium advertising agency for the Headquarters U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Fort Knox, Ky.; Headquarters U.S. Army Cadet Command, Fort Monroe, Va.; Office of the Chief, Army Reserve, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C.; and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower & Reserve Affairs, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C. This contract shall be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract in which fixed-price task orders will be issued. All other direct expense will be negotiated at the time of task order execution and become a firm-fixed-price line item. Work will be performed in Chicago, Ill., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2004. There were three bids solicited on April 17, 2000, and two bids were received. The Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (DASW01-00-D-3035).

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on June 26, 2000, a $21,490,779 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-97-D-X010, for Heavy Equipment Mobility Tactical Truck overhaul vehicles. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 17, 1997. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $20,515,376 modification to firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract DAAJ09-97-C-0005, for two UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters modified to S-70A-21 Egyptian VIP configuration. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 17, 1995. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, Sensors and Electronic Systems, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $53,843,141 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 36 AN/ALR-67(V)3 countermeasures receiving sets for the F/A-18E/F. The receiving set is a radar warning receiver that provides visual and aural alerts upon detection from ground based, airborne or ship emitters. Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0226).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

General Electric Medical Systems, Inc., Milwaukee, Wis., is being awarded an estimated maximum $20,000,000 indefinite-quantity contract for CT scanner maintenance service (national). One proposal was solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by June 28, 2001. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-8038).

Marconi Medical Systems, Inc., Highland Heights, Ohio, is being awarded an estimated maximum $20,000,000 indefinite-quantity contract for CT scanner maintenance service (national). One proposal was solicited and one was received. Work is expected to be completed by June 28, 2001. AIR FORCE

Raytheon Company, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $7,321,193 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for research support and data for the Steered Agile Beams (STAB) program. This program will develop chip-scale, laser beam control components for revolutionary beam control system concepts for a variety of military applications. Expected contract completion date is June 26, 2004. Solicitation issue date was May 10, 1999. Negotiation completion date was June 19, 2000. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-00-C-1679).
