AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $16,542,812 (estimated) cost-plus-fixed-fee-requirements-type contract to provide for post production support services through July 2003 for the F100 engines on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. These services include technical, engineering, design, training technical documentation, and field support services. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This effort can support foreign military sales to Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Egypt, Israel, Korea, Japan, Pakistan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Venezuela. Expected contract completion date is July 2003. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 28, 1999. Negotiation completion date was June 16, 2000. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-00-D-0239).

ARMY

Stewart and Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems LP, Sealy, Texas, is being awarded an $11,784,985 modification to firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract DAAE07-98-C-M005, for 97 Tactical Vehicle Cargoes (M1078A1), and 3 Medium Tactical Vehicle Wreckers (M1089A1). Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 2, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Colonial Energy, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an $8,604,289 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred ninety proposals were solicited and thirty were received. Work is expected to be completed by September 30, 2002, and will be performed at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., and McGuire Air Force Base, N.J. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-00-D-7613).
