ARMY

Brown & Root Services, Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $10,000,000 increment as part of an $81,801,109 (base year total) cost-plus-award-fee contract, with a cumulative total of $283,880,764, if all options are exercised. The contractor will analyze, plan, develop, integrate, manage, and ensure successful completion of the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program's Integrated Liquid-fuel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Project. Through the Integrated Liquid-fuel ICBM Project, CTR will assist the Russian Federation (RF) to: 1) eliminate and dismantle SS-18 ICBM Silos; 2) eliminate and dismantle SS-17 ICBMs, SS-18 ICBMs, and SS-19 ICBMs and their launch canisters; 3) dispose of liquid rocket fuel; and 4) provide other support as necessary to assist the RF to effectively and efficiently eliminate and dismantle the liquid-fuel ICBM launchers and missiles required by the Strategic Arms Reduction Talks (START) Treaties. Work will be performed in Moscow, Russia (98%), and Arlington, Va. (2%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2009. Of the total contract funds, $10,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 38 bids solicited on Oct. 13, 1999, and three bids were received. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Dulles, Va., is the contracting activity (DTRA01-00-C-0101).

Longbow LLC, Commercial and Government Entity, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $6,578,262 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAH23-99-G-0012, for FY99 war reserve spares to support deployment for the Fire Control Radar System for the AH-64D Apache Helicopter. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md. (50%); and Orlando, Fla. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 10, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 25, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $1,772,000 increment as part of a $56,201,150 firm-fixed-price contract for dredging the Lower Brunswick Channel to Keg Island Channel, in Wilmington Harbor. The excavating and displacing of sand is for the purpose of widening the harbor for better traffic flow. Work will be performed in Wilmington, N.C., and is expected to be completed by June 8, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 31 bids solicited on May 5, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington, N.C., is the contracting activity (DACW54-00-C-0013).

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $30,000 increment as part of a $13,640,420 firm-fixed-price contract for dredging Bald Head Shoal, Outer Bar (new channel) Station 120+00 to 355+00, in Wilmington Harbor. The excavating and displacing of sand is for the purpose of widening the harbor for better traffic flow. Work will be performed in Wilmington, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 10, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 21 bids solicited on April 5, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington, N.C., is the contracting activity (DACW54-00-C-0012).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $42,011,100 (not-to-exceed) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for integrated logistics support through March 2004 and five canopies for the F-16C/D aircraft. This effort supports foreign military sales to Greece. Expected contract completion date is March 2004. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-0059-P00002).

Ellis Environmental Group, Newberry, Fla., is being awarded a $20,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Ellis Environmental will be one of twelve contractors participating in a program to provide professional architect-engineer services through June 2007 to perform preliminary assessment through remedial design and other services in support of environmental remediation activities at locations worldwide. The total program maximum value is $480,000,000. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Delivery orders will be awarded pursuant to criteria enumerated in the contracts. The Air Force can award delivery orders to all twelve participating contractors totaling up to the total program maximum value of $480,000,000. The maximum amount for any individual contract is $200,000,000. The estimated amount for this contract is $20,000,000, though actual requirements may necessitate more or less than this amount. This was a Commerce Business Daily announced solicitation, there were 45 proposals received. Expected contract completion date is July 2007. Solicitation issue date was Oct. 20, 1999. The 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-00-D-8032).

The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $10,400,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 37 Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems and associated spares applicable to the F/A-18. This effort supports Navy requirements. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 2002. Solicitation issue date was May 28, 1999. Negotiation completion date was July 20, 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-2027).

Dellew Corp., Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $5,678,126 fixed-price-with-indefinite-quantities-and-award-fee contract to provide for FY2001 maintenance and repair services at the Dormitories, Brick Quarters, Green Acres/Pine Estates, Woodland Hills, and Page Manor housing areas at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Expected contract completion date is September 2001 (basic year); September 2002 (option year 1); September 2003 (option year 2); September 2004 (option year 3); September 2005 (option year 4).
