DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

IGI Resources, Inc.*, Boise, Idaho, is being awarded a $14,914,636 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred ninety proposals were solicited and 30 were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001, and will be performed in Fairchild AFB, Wash., Spokane, Wash., Whidbey Island, Wash., Bremerton, Wash., Keyport, Wash., Puget Sound, Wash., Bangor, Wash., Vancouver, Wash., Fallon, Nev., and McChord AFB, Wash. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-00-D-7621).

NAVY

Marconi Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md. is being awarded a $12,223,144 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-97-D-1550 to exercise an option for technical and engineering services in support of the communications electronic platform systems and subsystems. The estimated level of effort for this option is 240,500 man-hours. Work will be performed in California, Md. (82%) and St. Inigoes, Md. (18%), and is expected to be completed by August 2001. The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

Bitterroot Restoration, Inc.*, Corvalis, Mont.; Garcia and Associates*, San Anselmo, Calif.; RECON Environmental, Inc.*, San Diego, Calif.; and Tierra Data Systems*, Escondido, Calif., are being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award concept contract for natural resources related services. The maximum contract amount for each offeror is not to exceed $5,000,000 (base year and four option years) with a guaranteed minimum of $5,000. The total contract amount for all four contractors is not to exceed $20,000,000. Garcia and Associates is being awarded the initial project in the amount of $176,584 for all services required to implement, maintain, and monitor a 6.21 acre coastal sage scrub restoration site on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Calif. Work will be performed in California (75%), Arizona (5%), Nevada (5%), New Mexico (5%), Oregon (5%) and Washington (5%). Work is expected to be complete by August 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $15,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 55 proposals solicited and four offers received. These four contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing multiple award contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-00-D-4415/4416/4414/4413).

ARMY

James N. Gray Co., Lexington, Ky., is being awarded $11,795,000 as part of a $13,064,200 (total if options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract to design/build a vehicle maintenance facility. The project consists of the maintenance facility, a gravel parking lot, two maintenance buildings with attached oil storage, and two deployment storage buildings. Nine existing buildings will be demolished. Work will be performed at Fort Campbell, Ky., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 160 bids solicited on June 21, 2000, and eight bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACA27-00-C-0073).

Dean Kurtz Construction*, Rapid City, S.D., is being awarded $9,292,067 as part of a $9,833,686 firm-fixed-price contract to design/build a Consolidated Education Center. Work will be performed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 54 bids solicited on May 22, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACA45-00-C-0018).

Sundt Construction Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,381,943 firm-fixed-price contract. This project is an unrestricted acquisition for the removal and replacement of concrete pavement for the keel section of Runway 22/04, and other miscellaneous associated work, including one option to replace Portland cement concrete on the Runway 04 touchdown. Work will be performed at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 1, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 51 bids solicited on June 15, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Cops of Engineers, Albuquerque, N.M., is the contracting activity (DACA47-00-C-0021).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Cianbro Corp., Pittsfield, Maine, is being awarded a $6,782,350 firm-fixed-price contract for reinforcing concrete caps and installing concrete revetment for rehabilitation of the Wilmington Harbor South Jetty. Work will be performed in Wilmington, Del. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 7, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 94 bids solicited on June 14, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (DACW61-00-C-0039).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $11,726,035 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for one F-16 Block 50 aircraft with Air to Air Interrogator and Alternate Mission Equipment. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2002. Solicitation issue date was June 23, 1999. Negotiation completion date was March 30, 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-0031).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $6,359,547 modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee contract which extends by two months the pre-engineering and manufacturing development phase of the Radar Technology Insertion Program supporting the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2000. Negotiation completion date was June 22, 2000. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-99-C-0011-P00019).
