ARMY

Brown and Root and General Dynamics Land Systems, a joint venture, is being awarded an increment of a $104,425,923 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide logistics and public works functions for Fort Knox, Ky. Work is expected to be completed on Dec. 30, 2005. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (DABT60-01-C-0001).

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $10,310,000 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAE07-96-C-X195, to exercise the option for system engineering and technical support for the Abrams Tank Program. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 2, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-96-C-X195).
