Longbow Limited Liability Co., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $10,302,478 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAH23-99-G-0012, for fiscal year 2000 deployment assets to support Fire Control Radar Systems for the AH64D Apache helicopter. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md. (50%), and Orlando, Fla. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 11, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
Snodgrass Construction Co. Inc.*, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $9,264,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a live munitions ramp. Work will be performed at McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, Kan., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 17, 2001. There were 27 bids solicited on July 13, 2000, and eight bids were received. The National Guard Bureau, Topeka, Kan., is the contracting activity (DAHA14-01-C-5000).
