DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

IBM Global Government Industry, Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $250,000,000 (estimated maximum) firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for picture archiving and communications systems. There were 65 proposals solicited and five received. Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 19, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-98-D-8702).

Agfa Corp., Ridgefield Park, N.J., is being awarded a $250,000,000 (estimated maximum) firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for picture archiving and communications systems. There were 65 proposals solicited and five received. Work will be performed in Teterboro, N.J. and is expected to be completed by Nov. 19, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-98-D-8701).

C & D Technologies, Inc., Blue Bell, Penn., is being awarded a $17,063,816 firm-fixed-price contract for an ignition system battery. Six proposals were solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in Attica, Ind. and is expected to be completed by Nov. 16, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0430-01-D-0095).

ARMY

General Dynamics Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $10,893,785 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-94-C-N853, to exercise options for common hardware/software items for Project Manager Army Tactical Command and Control Systems computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005. Of the total contract funds $295,937 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1994, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.
