NAVY

James McHugh Construction Company, Chicago, Ill., is being awarded a $30,800,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a 16,975 square meter physical training facility at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes. Work also includes demolition of Building 800 and abatement of hazardous materials. Work will be performed in Great Lakes, Ill., and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 11 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Engineering Field Activity, Midwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Great Lakes, Ill., is the contracting activity (N68950-00-C-0228).

Northrop Grumman Corp., El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $12,253,549 ceiling priced order for 17 aircraft bulkheads (center barrels) in support of F/A-18 C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by October 2003. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-00-G-001D) (order 0054).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,469,439 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract N00019-97-C-0147 to exercise an option for integrated logistics support/sustaining support services for the E-2C aircraft. The estimated level of effort for this option is 38,425 man-hours. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (92%), Herndon, Va. (6.5%), and San Diego, Calif. (1.5%), and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Sensors and Electronic Systems, El Segundo, Calif., is being issued a $7,047,240 firm-fixed-price order for 15 radar data processors in support of the AN/APG-73 radar used on F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed at El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This order was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-001A) (order 5342).

The Seaward Services, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is being awarded a $5,144,201 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operation and maintenance support for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Detachment, Key West Detachment, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. Work will be performed in Key West, Fla., and is expected to be completed by November 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic solicitation with three offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-01-C-0078).

ARMY

Tri-State Construction Co. Inc.*, Elkins Park, Pa., is being awarded a $15,420,855 firm-fixed-price contract to alter/expand the existing Berry-Roseblatt training building. Work will be performed at the U.S. Army Reserve Command, West Hartford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 82 bids solicited on Aug. 25, 2000, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACA27-01-C-0001).
