ARMY

Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control-Dallas, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $104,000,000 modification (not-to-exceed for this letter contract modification is $212,400,000) as part of cost-plus-incentive-fee contract DAAH01-98-C-0062, for low rate initial production of missiles and for ground support for Patriot Advanced Capability. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas (50%); Huntsville, Ala. (30%); Camden, Ark. (7%); Lufkin, Texas (5%); Clearwater, Fla. (3%); The Netherlands (3%), and Germany (2%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 24, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded an $11,700,000 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAE07-96-C-X195, to exercise options for systems technical support for the Abrams tank program. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 17, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $27,440,100 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract option for design services for Seawolf class submarines. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and will be completed by September 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $1,021,500 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-2103).

Rockwell Collins Government Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $5,848,834 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract N00019-00-C-0115 to exercise an option for the production of 121 AN/ARC-210(V) Electronic Protection Radio Systems (28 RT-1556B/ARC, 38 RT-1747D/ARC, and 55 RT-1794C/ARC radios), including ancillary equipment and associated support. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy Reserve (116 systems (28 RT-1556B/ARC, 30 RT-1747D/ARC, and 58 RT-1794C)); the U.S. Army (one RT-1794C/ARC); and the Government of the Netherlands (four RT-1794C/ARC) under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (80%) and Coralville, Iowa (20%), and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $1,434,241 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Mission Research Corp., Santa Barbara, Calif., is being awarded a $20,000,000 (maximum) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for research and development in support of technologies for fielding systems and subsystems to conduct a wide range of experiments at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. Expected contract completion date December 2005. Solicitation issue date was April 20, 2000. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 6, 2000. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Company, King of Prussia, Penn., is being awarded a $12,414,803 (not-to-exceed) modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide for advanced long lead parts in support of the modernization development effort for up to twelve NAVSTAR Global Positioning System Block IIR satellites. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2001. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 30, 2000. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity. Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $12,192,544 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for definition of architecture development and experimentation in support of the Affordable Moving Surface Target Enhancement II (AMSTEII) program. This program will investigate and demonstrate affordable solutions for targeting moving surface threats using both seeker-less and seeker equipment weapons. Expected contract completion date is Nov. 15, 2001. Solicitation issue date was June 21, 2000. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 16, 2000. The Boeing Company, St Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $6,620,558 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract which increases the not-to-exceed amount on an undefinitized contract action (UCA) providing for restructure of the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) effort for the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System for the F-15, F-16, F-22 and F/A-18 aircraft, and the AIM-9X missile and provides incremental funding to the basic JHMCS EMD effort. The restructure provides for further maturation of critical technologies and extensions of the EMD phase to March 2002. This modification increases the not-to-exceed amount of the restructure of the UCA to $17,128,573. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 2002. Solicitation issue date was Feb. 15, 2000. DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sterling Foods, Inc*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $12,408,620 firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for food services. There were 58 proposals solicited and one received. Contract is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-00-D-Z120).
