ARMY

AM General Corp., South Bend, Ind., is being awarded $15,028,084 as part of a $191,866,379 firm-fixed-price contract for 257 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs). Work will be performed in Mishawaka, St. Joseph, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract awarded based on acquisition streamlining principals. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-S001).

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control-Dallas, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $119,650,813 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract DAAH01-00-C-0109, to exercise an option for low rate initial production to cover M270A1 Multiple Launch Rocket System Launchers and logistics support for FY01, including training and interim contractor support. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 8, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Missiles & Fire Control-Dallas, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $6,134,111 modification to cost-plus-award-fee contract DAAH01-98-C-0093, for the Army Tactical Missile System 2001 engineering services option exercise. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 30, 1998. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an $83,531,794 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for advisory and assistance services through December 2003 in support of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. The contractor will provide independent and objective acquisition planning, programming, policy and budgeting analysis, management and support. The work will be performed at the Pentagon and at the Ass't SECAF for Acquisition offices in Rosslyn, Va. There were two proposals received. Solicitation began July 2000; negotiations were completed November 2000. At this time, $353,640 of the contract funds have been obligated. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33657-00/C-0016).

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Ft. Worth, Texas was awarded on Dec. 15, a $15,037,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for twenty ship sets of various components in support of commercial production of the F-16 C/D aircraft. These sets consist of unique components that can only be acquired through foreign military sales. This effort supports foreign military sales to Korea. The work is expected to be completed December 2003. Solicitation began August 2000 and negotiations were complete December 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33657-00/C-0004).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on Dec. 15, a $10,508,377 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 90 Digital Map System production kits and an additional 42 Digital Map System Mission Cartridges in support of the F15E. The work is expected to be completed September 2003. The work will be performed at Defense Avionics Systems, Albuquerque, N.M. (90%), and McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo. (10%). Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33657-98/C-0023, P00005).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $9,600,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for upgrade of six AN/ALQ-131 electronic countermeasures systems applicable to various aircraft from the Block I to Block II configuration, and associated support services. The work is expected to be completed December 2003. The work will be performed at Northrop Grumman facility in Warner Robins, Ga. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began November 2000; negotiations were completed November 2000. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-01/C-0049).

BAE Systems, Santa Monica, Calif., is being awarded an $8,248,251 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 105 Fuel Management Advisory Computers, 62 Integrated Fuel Management Panels and 144 Application-specific Integrated Circuits in support of the Fuel Savings and Advisor System for the KC-135 aircraft. The work will be performed at BAE Systems, Santa Monica, Calif. (63%) and Avionics Ltd., Kent, England (37%). The work is expected to be completed March 2002. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began March 2000; negotiations were completed November 2000. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-00/C0357).

UNITED STATES SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

The Boeing Company, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $50,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the development and production of C-130 Engine Infrared Suppression Systems. The place of performance is Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; St Louis, Mo.; and Indianapolis, Ind. U.S. Special Operations Command, Tampa, Fla., is the contracting activity (USZA22-01-D-0001).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

SK Global America, Inc., New York, N.Y., was awarded on Dec. 18, 2000, a $42,814,638 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for F76. Twenty-five proposals were solicited and thirteen was received. Work will be performed in Kyungsangnam-Do, Korea, and is expected to be completed by Dec 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center is the contracting activity (SP0600-01-D-0465).

Ssangyong (U.S.A.), Inc., Paramus, N.J., is being awarded a $17,957,133 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for fuel. Twenty-five proposals were solicited and thirteen was received. Work will be performed in Ulsan Metropolitan City, Korea, and is expected to be completed by Jan 30, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Bindley Western Industries, Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $12,298,684 firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for prime vendor pharmaceuticals for fleet. Two hundred forty-seven proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Shelby, N.C.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Tampa, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 18, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-7020).

Ashland Distribution Company, Dublin, Ohio, was awarded on Dec. 18, 2000, a $6,496,424 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for a fuel system icing inhibitor. Two hundred twenty-nine proposals were solicited and three was received. Work will be performed in Hahnville, La., and is expected to be completed by Dec 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center is the contracting activity (SP0600-01-D-0751).

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $37,172,233 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-00-C-5487) for production of MK 44 Mod Two Guided Missile Roundpacks for the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Program. A quantity of 64 MK 44 Mod two guided missile Roundpacks for the Government of Korea and ninety-five 95 MK 44 Guided Missile ORDALT Kits for the United States are included in this modification. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (50%), and Ottobrunn Germany (50%), and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems - Tactical Systems, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $19,732,239 modification to previously awarded contract (N00019-99-C-1275) to exercise an option for the purchase of 11 Anti-Surface Warfare Improvement Program kit installations for P-3 aircraft. Work will be performed in Greenville, S.C. (90%); and Eagan, Minn. (10%); and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Untied Defense, L. P. Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a $12,492,701 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-99-C-5206) for the procurement of seven MK 63 Mod 1 Weathershields. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn. (60%); and Louisville, Ky., (40%), and is expected to be completed by August 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

International Technology Corp., Concord, Calif., is being awarded a $10,915,140 delivery order modification under an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery, cost-plus-award-fee contract for environmental remedial action at the former Naval Station Treasure Island. Work will be performed in San Francisco, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 182 proposals solicited, four offers received, and award made to International Technology Corp., on June 2, 1998. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $250,000,000 (base period and six one-year options). This delivery order modification was negotiated under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems - Tactical Systems, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $9,806,151 firm-fixed-price delivery order contract for non-recurring engineering for Enhanced Specific Emitter Identification in support of the Anti-Surface Warfare Improvement Program for P-3 aircraft. Work will be performed in San Jose, Calif. (80%); and Eagan, Miss. (20%); and is expected to be completed by February 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
