ARMY

J&J Maintenance Inc., Austin, Texas, was awarded on Dec. 29, 2000, a fixed-price with requirements contract with an estimated cumulative potential value of $30,102,622 for military family housing maintenance and operation of the Louisiana Purchase Self-Help Center. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. Work will be performed at Fort Polk, La., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. There were 36 bids solicited on June 8, 1998, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Ga., is the contracting activity (DAKF11-01-D-0003).

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Bedford, Mass., was awarded on Dec. 29, 2000, a $20,000,000 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH01-98-C-0073 for a Patriot Remote Launch Communication Enhancement Upgrade. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (94%), and Burlington, Mass. (6%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 14, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control, Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on Dec. 29, 2000, a $6,000,000 increment as part of a cost-plus-award-fee letter contract with a not-to-exceed total of $15,000,000. The contractor will furnish all services, facilities, and equipment and provide all technical planning and management efforts to develop Patriot Advanced Capabilities (PAC-3) cost reduction initiatives. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas (91%); Westminster, Colo. (7%); Middlesex County, Mass. (1%), and Angelina County, Texas (1%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 5, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-01-C-0002).

Raytheon Co., Sudbury, Mass., was awarded on Dec. 29, 2000, a $14,997,446 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-95-C-B001, to exercise the option for four Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination Systems, and three Fixed Base Precision Approach Systems. Work will be performed in Sudbury, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 15 bids solicited on May 4, 1994, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

BAE Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded an $11,010,530 cost-plus-award-fee, level-of-effort contract for 218,271 man-hours to perform technical engineering service in support of the AEGIS technical representative, Program Executive Office for Theater Surface Combatants. Work will be performed in Marlton, N.J., and is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-01-C-5162).

BAE Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $10,020,645 cost-plus-award-fee, level-of-effort contract option for 267,306 man-hours to perform program management support for research and development, production, installation and testing in support of the Program Executive Office for Theater Surface Combatants. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-5180).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

RGW Construction Inc., Livermore, Calif., was awarded on Dec. 28, 2000, a $5,100,000 increment as part of a $9,107,370 firm-fixed-price contract for Phase II of the Guadalupe River Project Contract 3C. Work will be performed in Santa Clara County, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 22, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 43 bids solicited on Nov. 14, 2000, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, Calif., is the contracting activity (DACW05-01-C-0007).
