AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $40,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for one month (January 2001) advanced procurement in support of low rate initial production of 13 F-22 aircraft and associated equipment (Lot II). The work will be performed at The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (52%), Lockheed Martin, Ft. Worth, Texas (35%), and other locations. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began April 2000; negotiations were completed January 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00/C-0020).

NAVY

EG&G, WASC, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $26,519,779 cost-plus-award-fee contract option for program management, acquisition engineering and logistic support services for the Virginia Class Submarine Program Office (PMS 450), the Submarine Electronics Systems Office (PMS 401), and the Submarine Combat Systems Program Office (PMS 425). Work will be performed in Arlington, Va. (50%) and Manassas, Va. (50%), and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-6411).

ARMY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $13,688,888 modification to firm-fixed-price multi-year contract DAAJ09-97-C-0005, to exercise the option for two UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 17, 1995. The U.S. Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio, is being awarded a $10,191,650 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-98-D-T041, for 37,000 tracks (T-158LL) for the M1A2 Abrams Tank. Work will be performed in St. Marys, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 23, 1998. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $5,762,032 firm-fixed-price contract for dredging and related services for Wilmington Harbor Channels, Horseshoe Shoal Through Station 15+00 Snows Marsh and Kure Beach re-nourishment, Cape Fear River and Kure Beach, New Hanover and Brunswick Counties, N.C. Approximately 1,164,400 cubic yards of material are to be dredged and placed on Kure Beach. Work will be performed in Wilmington, N.C. (50%) and Kure Beach, N.C. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Aug. 17, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 26 bids solicited on Oct. 27, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington, N.C., is the contracting activity (DACW54-01-C-0011).
