AIR FORCE

Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, Mass., is being awarded a $122,918,200 modification to a fixed-price-incentive-firm-contract to provide for 300 CBU-105C/B Sensor Fuzed Weapons (and associated warranty) and 900 BLU-108B anti-armor submunitions to equip 150 AGM-154B Joint Standoff Weapons (and sustaining support). The work is expected to be completed April 2003. The work will be performed at Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, Mass. (52%) and Day and Zimmerman, Parsons, Kan. (48%). Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-01-C-0005-P00001).

The Boeing Co., St Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $47,571,967 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, to provide for the full rate production options for 51 A&B component kits; 51 installs; 51 warranties; three operational flight trainers; three unit training devices; 19 mission planning systems; 51 right-side communication navigator doors; and 51 left-side communication navigator doors in support of the T-38C aircraft. The work is expected to be completed January 2003. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting activity (F33657-95C-0057-P00085).

ARMY

General Dynamics Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $23,448,687 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-94-C-N853, to exercise options for common hardware/software items for Project Manager, Army Tactical Command and Control Systems computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1994, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

Medlin Construction Group LTD.*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded an $8,062,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of three separate facilities: a Corrosion Control Facility, a Logistics Group Headquarters, and Command Post, at two locations with phased construction. Work will be performed at Hurlburt Field, Fla., and is expected to be completed by June 21, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 267 bids solicited on Dec. 11, 2000, and 11 bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala., is the contracting activity (DACA01-01-C-0009).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Kokosing Construction Co., Fredricktown, Ohio, was awarded on March 21, 2001, a $5,000,000 increment of an $11,797,624 (base year total) firm-fixed-price contract, with a cumulative total of $18,176,014, for Phase IIIB, local protection project, Floodwall-Levee-Pump Station. Work will be performed in West Columbus, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on Nov. 9, 2000, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington, W. Va., is the contracting activity (DACW69-01-C-0004).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Pelican Lumber & Export Company*, Lake Charles, La., is being awarded a $14,611,000 indefinite quantity, fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for lumber and related products. Work will be performed in Opelousas, La.; Atlanta, Ga.; Thomson, Ga.; Ruston, La.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Leesville, La.; Picayune, Miss.; Alexandria, La.; Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and Lake Charles, La. and is expected to be completed by June 21, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0500-01-D-BP06).

Buie Forest Products, Inc.*, Boerne, Texas, is being awarded a $5,585,000 indefinite quantity, fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for lumber and related products. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Va.; Eloy, Ariz.; Eugene, Ore.; Renton, Wash.; West Point, Va.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Opelousas, La.; Englewood, Colo.; Halstead, Kan.; Ogden, Utah; San Antonio, Texas; Portland, Ore.; Tacoma, Wash.; and Boise, Idaho and is expected to be completed by June 21, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0500-01-D-BP07).

NAVY

San Juan Construction, Inc./John Laing International Limited (a joint venture), Montrose, Colo., is being awarded a $13,408,000 firm-fixed price contract for five consolidated construction projects at U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia. Work will be performed in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territories, and is expected to be completed by April 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 32 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-01-C-1300).

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $13,190,888 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract N00024-99-C-2900 for design agent services to support planning and execution of design/configuration changes for submarines and designated facilities. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (89%), Kings Bay, Ga. (6%), and Quonset, R. I. (5%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $12,412,146 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Untied Kingdom FY 2002 Trident II (D-5) program support. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. These funds are for the United Kingdom, (100%). This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Washington, D.C., vice Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-01-C-0060).

Healy Tibbitts Builders, Inc., Aiea, Hawaii, is being awarded a $12,284,000 firm-fixed-price contract for upgrade of Wharves K-10 and K-11 at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Pearl Harbor. Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 34 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-99-C-1304).

Raytheon Co., Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a $10,807,934 modification to exercise an option to previously awarded fixed-price incentive fee/firm-fixed-price contract N61339-00-C-0002 for suite two of the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer - Aviation Reconfigurable Manned Simulator (AVCATT-A) for the U.S. Army. The AVCATT-A is a group of fully interactive, networked, reconfigurable aviation manned simulators. The systems will permit Army aviation units to conduct collective task training on a real-time, computerized battlefield in a combined arms scenario. Work will be performed in Arlington, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.
