ARMY

United Defense Limited Partnership, York, Penn., is being awarded a $228,044,944 fixed price-price redetermination contract with cost reimbursement support for 83 M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 26 M3A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 13 M2A2 Operation Desert Storm (ODS) Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 179 M2A2 Operation Desert Storm Bradley Applique Kits, 19 MLRS carrier unique materials, and an economic order quantity for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Work will be performed in York, Penn. (83%); Aiken, S.C. (5%); San Jose, Calif. (8%); and Fayette, Penn. (4%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 27, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 29, 2001. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Sikorsky Aircraft Co., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $47,577,922 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAJ08-87-C-0005 for five aircraft and incorporating the conversion of the five UH-60L Blackhawk aircraft into the HH-60L configuration on the production line. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 17, 1997. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command is the contracting activity.

Sikorsky Aircraft Company, Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $21,600,000 increment as part of a $21,700,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract for the UH-60M/UH-60M Medical evacuation aircraft integration and qualification effort. Work will be performed in Stanford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 29, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command is the contracting activity (DAAH23-01-C-0053).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Nucletron Corp., Columbia, Md., was awarded on April 27, 2001, a $30,000 000 indefinite quantity type contract for radiation oncology systems and subsystems. Work will be performed in Veenendaal, Holland, and is expected to be completed by April 28, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Huestis Machine Corp., Bristol, R.I., was awarded on April 27, 2001, a $30,000,000 indefinite quantity type contract for radiation oncology systems and subsystems. Seagoing Uniform*, Marshville, N.C., is being awarded a $18,794,051 firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract for U.S. Navy utility uniforms. There were 40 proposals solicited and five received. Work will be performed in Wadesboro, N.C., and Robersonville, N.C., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Mercury Air Center, Tulsa, Okla., is being awarded a $14,084,064 fixed-price with economic price adjustment type contract for jet fuel. There were two proposals solicited and two received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $24,709,195 (ceiling amount) firm-fixed-price contract to provide I-level ground support equipment and integrated logistics support for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (19%); Milford, N.H. (14%); Vandalia, Ohio (13%); Los Angeles, Calif. (12%); Fenton, Mo. (11%); Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. (8%); Chicago, Ill. (7%); Irvine, Calif. (2%); South Bend, Ind. (2%); Eglin, Ill. (2%); Albuquerque, N.M. (2%); Olivette, Mo. (1%); Anaheim, Calif. (1%); Downers Grove, Ill. (1%); East Aurora, N.Y. (1%); Baltimore, Md. (1%); Northridge, Calif. (1%); Davenport, Iowa (1%); and East Lyme, Conn. (1%), and is expected to be completed by May 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-01-C-0073).

Raydon Corp., Daytona Beach, Fla., is being awarded an $8,765,748 cost-plus-fixed-fee service contract to provide engineering and technical services in the assessment, design, development, test and evaluation, manufacture and documentation of both tabletop and appended trainers in support of various training needs such as the Abram full-crew interactive and Bradley full-crew interactive simulators. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $44,078,433. Work will be performed in Daytona Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by December 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Internet, and one offer was received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-01-D-0009).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $10,812,560 modification to a time and materials contract to provide for 10 D03 configuration upgrade kits for the F117 engine applicable to the C-17 aircraft. This work is expected to be completed April 2003. United Technologies Corp. will perform this effort at its facility in East Hartford, Conn. (100%).
