ARMY

Cape Environmental Management Inc.*, Shawnee, Kan., was awarded on June 5, 2001, a firm-fixed-price or cost-reimbursement, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $15,000,000, for base realignment and closure at Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome, N.Y. Work is expected to be completed by June 5, 2006. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order. There were 73 bids solicited in Nov. 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo., is the contracting activity (DACA41-01-D-0003).

AM General Corp., AM General Division Headquarters, South Bend, Ind., was awarded on June 8, 2001, a $12,844,138 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-01-C-S001, for 197 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). Work will be performed in Mishawaka, St. Joseph, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Cybersource Corp., San Jose, Calif., is being awarded a $10,603,555 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00140-97-D-1756) to exercise an option for the provision of software maintenance services in support of Microsoft BackOffice Client, Microsoft BackOffice Server, Microsoft Site Server, and various desktop software products. Software maintenance is to be provided to the Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Contract Management Command, and other defense procurement offices. Work will be performed in San Jose, Calif. Work is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.

ITT Night Vision, Roanoke, Va., is being awarded an $8,103,899 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-00-C-0444) to exercise an option for the procurement of 1419 units of AN-AVS-9 Night Vision Image Intensifier Sets. Work will be performed in Roanoke, Va., and is expected to be completed by August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $6,032,225 modification to a cost-plus-fixed fee contract to provide for design completion of retrofit kits to upgrade the BOL 515 Countermeasures Defense units into the F-15 aircraft. This work is to be completed by December 2002. This effort will be performed by McDonnell Douglas, St Louis, Mo. (75%) and BAE Systems, Austin, Texas (25%). Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-0032).
