ARMY

Titan Systems Corp., Signal Products Division, Santa Clara, Calif., is being awarded $6,000,000 as part of an estimated $58,328,451 firm-fixed-price contract for the purchase of 83 Prophet (AN/MLQ-40(V) 2) production systems to include funding for training, fielding and testing support. First year performance is for six first article test vehicles. Each year thereafter, an option to purchase production units based on proposed range quantities and associated pricing will be ordered to the maximum of 83 systems. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif. (5%), and Melbourne, Fla. (95%), and is expected to be completed by June 11, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Oct. 11, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-01-C-L539).

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded $3,817,306 as part of a $6,227,000 letter contract modification superseding basic letter contract, to be definitized as firm-fixed-price, with a not-to-exceed total of $12,454,000. This acquisition is for 50 Stinger Vehicle Universal Launchers (SVULs) and one lot of SVUL unique spares for Egypt. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (90%), and Farmington, N.M. (10%), and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 3, 2001. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-01-C-0032).

TRW Inc., Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $5,603,408 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DASG60-96-C-0155 for a Mobile Tactical High Energy Laser (MTHEL) System Engineering Trade Study (SETS) for Israel. Work will be performed in Redondo Beach, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 1, 2001. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 28, 2001. The U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $20,524,297 (not-to-exceed) fixed-price incentive firm contract to provide for long lead parts/advanced procurement in support of low rate initial production of two Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicles and one Mission Control Element. This work is expected to be completed March 2003. Solicitation began July 2000; negotiations were completed June 2001. This is an undefinitized long lead/advanced procurement; proposed definitization date is November 2001. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-4601).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Y. Hata & Company Ltd.*, Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $13,600,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract for full-line food distribution for land-based activities in Hawaii. There were 20 proposals solicited, and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 25, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-01-D-2981).
