AIR FORCE

Joint Test, Tactics and Training, Las Vegas, Nev., is being awarded a $96,779,436 cost-plus-award-fee/term-cost-reimbursable/no-fee contract to provide support of Joint Range Technical Services Program fiscal year 2002 requirements including engineering and technical support services in support of research, development, test and evaluation and the training mission of the Nevada Test and Training Range, the Utah Test and Training Range, the Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., and the Navy's Electronic Combat Range at China Lake, Calif. This work is expected to be completed September 2002. The Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42650-01-C-7218).

DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

IBP Inc., Dakota Dunes, S.D., is being awarded a $88,886,515 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide and deliver fresh beef products to Defense Commissary Agency stores in the northeast and north central United States. The beef will be produced in IBP's Lexington, Neb., plant. The contract completion date is June 14, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were three firms solicited, and three proposals were received. The Defense Commissary Agency, Subsistence Contracting Division, Hopewell, Va., is the contracting activity (DECA02-01-D-0011).

IBP Inc., Dakota Dunes, S.D., is being awarded a $27,681,619 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide and deliver fresh beef products to Defense Commissary Agency stores in the northwestern United States. The beef will be produced in IBP's Lexington, Neb., a plant. The contract completion date is June 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 firms solicited, and four proposals were received. The Defense Commissary Agency, Subsistence Contracting Division, Hopewell, Va., is the contracting activity (DECA02-01-D-0009).

Farmland National Beef Packing Co., Kansas City, Mo., is being awarded a $27,589,126 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide and deliver fresh beef products to Defense Commissary Agency stores in the southwestern United States. The beef will be produced in National's Dodge City, Kan., plant. The contract completion date is June 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 firms solicited, and four proposals were received. The Defense Commissary Agency, Subsistence Contracting Division, Hopewell, Va., is the contracting activity (DECA02-01-D-0010).

NAVY

AIL Systems Inc., Deer Park, N.Y., is being awarded a $38,549,940 firm-fixed-price contract for the fabrication of 78 EA-6B Universal Exciter Upgrades. Work will be performed in Deer Park, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in August 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-01-C-0006).

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $13,044,627 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, incentive-fee contract (N00019-00-C-0183) to exercise an option for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot V Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) for the MV-22 and CV-22. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (45%); Fort Worth, Texas (45%); and Jacksonville, N.C. (10%), and is expected to be completed in December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

CSI Engineering P.C.*, Beltsville, Md., is being awarded a $9,935,619 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and construction to upgrade the Electrical Distribution System at Andrews Air Force Base. Work will be performed in Camp Springs, Md., and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $8,942,057 will expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through the Small Business Act, Section 8(a), with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-01-C-0034).

ARMY

James N. Gray Co., Lexington, Ky., is being awarded $16,960,000 as part of an estimated $28,150,650 firm-fixed-price contract to design/build and alter/add the athletic facility at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. Completion of the work is expected by Oct. 12, 2003. There were five bids solicited on March 5, 2001, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACA67-01-C-0207).
