ARMY

Bren-Tronics Inc., Commack, N.Y., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with an estimated cumulative total of $80,000,000 for up to 450,000 universal rechargeable battery systems with associated adapters, cables and ancillary equipment; testing and various data items are included. These battery systems support Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio Systems and thermal weapon sights. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. Work will be performed in Commack, N.Y., and completion is expected by Aug. 30, 2006. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on Dec. 6, 2000, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-01-D-A504).

Bollinger/Incat USA LLC, Lockport, La., is being awarded a $2,500,000 delivery order amount as part of a $22,303,500 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for select modifications, lease, testing, evaluation and training support and delivery of a high-speed vessel for joint use by the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. Work will be performed in Lockport, La., with delivery of the vessel to Hampton Roads, Va., and completion is expected by Oct. 9, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were five bids solicited on June 1, 2001, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-D-T064).
