ARMY

Communication Technologies Inc., Chantilly, Va., is being awarded an estimated $27,006,957 as part of a fixed-price-award-fee/requirements type contract with an estimated cumulative total of $142,395,442 to provide nationwide support in the functional areas of Reserve Officer Training Corps instruction, recruiting, retention and training for the U.S. Army Cadet Command. Work will be performed at Fort Monroe, Va., and completion is expected by Dec. 14, 2006. There was an announcement on the U.S. Army Training & Doctrine Command website on July 23, 2001, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Training & Doctrine Command, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (DABT60-02-D-0003).

Global Technical Systems, Virginia Beach, Va., was awarded on Nov. 13, 2001, an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a cumulative total of $46,403,995 for scientific, engineering and limited production support for defense systems and vehicles under the Naval Sea Systems Command Combat Direction Systems Activity. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Va., and completion is expected by Nov. 13, 2004. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 10, 2001. The U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DASG60-02-D-0004).

Hellfire Systems LLC, Orlando, Fla., was awarded on Nov. 13, 2001, $2,899,463 as part of a not-to-exceed $5,800,000 firm-fixed-price letter contract for retrofit of the AGM-114K/F Hellfire laser guided missile with a modified rocket motor. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and completion is expected by Dec. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 25, 2001. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-02-C-0010).

BAE Systems, Integrated Defense Solutions, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $5,406,850 firm-fixed-price contract for modified ALE-47 ASE Suite components for 131 CH-47D Chinook helicopters. Work will be performed in Austin, Texas, and completion is expected by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 2, 2001. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0052).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $98,267,909 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 77 tactical Harpoon missiles, 25 Harpoon exercise sections, 103 Harpoon shipping containers and associated spares for the governments of Taiwan, Canada, Japan, Germany, Netherlands, Greece, Singapore and Korea. This contract combines purchases for the governments of Taiwan (87%), Canada (9.5%), Germany (1.8%), Netherlands (.5%), Singapore (.4%), Korea (.3%), Japan (.25%) and Greece (.25%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (59%); Clearwater, Fla. (16.6%); Melbourne, Fla. (7.9%); Middletown, Conn. (5.2%); and various other U.S. locations (11.3%) and is expected to be completed by April 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-01-C-0040).

GRC International, Vienna, Va., is being awarded an $8,717,043 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for program management, integrated logistics support and configuration management efforts directed to the support of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) cryptologic, communications and intelligence systems, which include training, project management surveillance system installation support, system integration and ship alteration and installation coordination support. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $29,541,623. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and is expected to be completed by November 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured and posted to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-commerce website, and three offers were received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-02-D-7836).

General Dynamics, Electric Boat, Groton, Conn., is executing a $7,605,000 letter contract for force protection requirements. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. No further information is provided on Naval nuclear contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-02-C-2206).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded an $15,890,565 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for two lots of integrated logistics support items for depot repair support of the C-130J aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2003. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-0006, P00214).

DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Dairy Maid Dairy Inc.*, Frederick, Md., is being awarded an $8,210,052 requirements-type contract to provide and deliver fluid milk and dairy products to Defense Commissary Agency stores in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia. The dairy products will be produced in Dairy Maid's Frederick, Md., plant. The contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 84 firms solicited, and three proposals were received. The Defense Commissary Agency, Fort Lee, Va., is the contracting activity (DECA02-02-D-0015).

The Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association Inc.*, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $5,940,879 requirements-type contract to provide and deliver fluid milk and dairy products to Defense Commissary Agency stores in the Tidewater, Va., area. The dairy products will be produced in and around Newport News, Va. The contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 84 firms solicited, and two proposals were received. The Defense Commissary Agency, Fort Lee, Va., is the contracting activity (DECA02-02-D-0016).
