Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $56,283,781 modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-00-C-0183) to provide additional funding to continue the manufacture of fiscal year 2002 aircraft for the Lot VI MV-22 effort. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50%); Fort Worth, Texas (35%); and Amarillo, Texas (15%), and is expected to be completed in August 2004. ManTech Telecommunications and Information Systems Corp., Chantilly, Va., is being awarded $18,875,836 as part of an estimated $163,895,352 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with two fixed-priced contract line items and reimbursable line items. This contract provides for information systems support throughout the 5th Signal Command area of responsibility, which includes Germany, Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom and the Balkans. Work will be performed at various locations outside of the continental United States, and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2006. General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $15,015,375 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAJ09-97-D-0196 for 25 engines (701C) incomplete without hydro-mechanical units and digital electronic controls. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and completion is expected by Oct. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Federal Express, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $13,044,134 firm-fixed-price with economic adjustment requirements contract to provide for door-to-door transportation of perishables to various locations in Korea and Japan. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete September 2002. Solicitation began in June 2001; negotiations were completed November 2001. Lockheed Martin Logistics Management Inc., Greenville, S.C., is being awarded a $5,268,705 fixed-price-incentive-fee with award-fee contract to provide for aircraft maintenance services in support of the F-15 and F-22 aircraft (when it comes on-line during the second quarter of fiscal year 2003) for the 325th Fighter Wing, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. Aircraft maintenance includes all unit assigned aircraft and associated ground support equipment for the 325th Fighter Wing. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. The basic period of performance is six months, from April 1, 2002 through Sept. 30, 2002, with seven one-year option periods. There were eight firm solicited in March 2001, and two proposals were received. Negotiations were completed November 2001. The contractor will perform this effort at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-02-C-0002).
TRW Inc., Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $5,110,186 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for award fee period number five, covering one year (from Oct. 1, 2000 through Sept. 30, 2001) for performance on Defense Support Program spacecraft post-production.
