AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $1,328,792,000 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for the purchase of 52 additional F-16D aircraft, increase of funding for other financial costs and increased funding for contractor management of contractors furnishing equipment as government-furnished equipment. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete November 2008. This effort support foreign military sales to Israel. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-2048, P00022).

Lockheed Martin Corp, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $49,089,013 firm-fixed-price contract modification to extend long lead procurement for 13 low rate initial production Lot 2 F-22 aircraft and associated equipment through January 2002. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2002. This effort will be performed at Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (13%); Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas (35%); and the Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (52%). The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-00-C-0020, P00009).

The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $25,853,040 time and materials contract modification to provide for 24 D03 configuration upgrade kits for the F117 engine applicable to the C-17 aircraft. Kits are part of 100 D03 engine upgrade kits that will accelerate the life cycle cost savings of the aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete April 2003. This effort will be performed at United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2002, P00032).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $20,900,000 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for advance procurement of 23 low rate initial production Lot 3 F-22 aircraft and associated equipment through January 2002. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2002. This effort will be performed at Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (13%); Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas (35%); and the Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (52%). The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2095).

United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded $18,000,000 firm-fixed price contract modification to extend the long lead procurement for 26 rate initial production Lot 2 engines and field support through Jan. 31, 2002. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2002. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-1240, P0007).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $17,578,414 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for restructure of other transaction for prototype agreement for the Power Low Cost Autonomous Attack Submunition Program. This effort increases testing to include flight test of live warhead test vehicle, wing deployment/engine start test vehicle, captive flight data collection, a tactical design display model and demonstration of a data link capability. At this time, $2,000,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete June 2003. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08630-99-9-0001, P00014).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $14,010,987 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for F-22 aircraft program support for January 2002. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete January 2002. This effort will be performed at Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga. (30%); Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas (36%); and the Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash. (34%). The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-0031, P00022).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $13,000,000 (not-to-exceed) fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to provide for one long lead aircraft production funding for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System Lot X aircraft (P16). At this time, the total funds have been obligated. The Electronics System Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-02-C-0015, P00003).

The Boeing Co., St Louis, Mo., is being awarded $9,421,302 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for the installation of 66 avionics upgrade kits into the T-38 aircraft and 66 kit warranties. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete March 2003. This effort will be performed by the contractor in Mesa, Ariz. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95-C-0057-P00114).

The Boeing Co., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $5,050,038 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for calendar year 2002 sustainment support for the Global Positioning System Block IIF satellite. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete December 2002. This effort will be performed by The Boeing Co., Seal Beach, Calif. (30%); Computer Sciences Corp., Rockville Md. (35%); and Lockheed Martin Corp., Gaithersburg, Md. (35%).

ARMY

Stewart and Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded a $379,719,618 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-98-C-M005 for 2400 trucks and 520 trailers in the family of medium tactical vehicles production contract optional program year (PY5) call-up, applicable federal retail excise tax and accompanying program year support. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited on Jan 2, 1998, and one bid received. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $78,295,812 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH23-00-C-0347 for technical, engineering and material support to Corpus Christi Army Depot in support of the overhaul and repair of the entire T700 family of engines. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 2, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on Aug. 22, 2000, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

SAIC, Oak Ridge, Tenn., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $250,012 as part of a $25,000,000 estimated face value firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery contract for architect engineer services for hazardous toxic and radioactive waste and environmental services within the boundaries of the South Atlantic Division. The period of performance is a base year with four one-year options. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on Sep. 18, 2001, and 15 bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity (DACA21-02-D-0004).

General Dynamics Robotic Systems Inc., Westminster, Md., is being awarded a $11,731,699 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAD13-01-C-0009 for 65 M56 smoke generators, to include one lot of logistics support for the M56 and 65 warranties. Work will be performed in Westminster, Md., and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2008. Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on Mar. 3, 2000, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Material Command Acquisition Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Demilitarization Co., Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a $5,000,000 modification to cost-plus-award-fee contract DAAA09-96-C-0081 for chemical weapons demilitarization. Work will be performed at Johnston Island and is expected to be completed by Sep. 27, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 19, 1995. The Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Raytheon Technical Services Co., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $75,525,761 ceiling-priced, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for systems engineering support, software engineering support, technical support, manufacturing support, life cycle support and facilities support to various Naval Air Systems Command program offices. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and is expected to be completed by January 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-02-D-3073).

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $48,000,000 modification to previously awarded advance acquisition contract N00019-00-C-0183 to provide additional funding to continue the manufacture of fiscal year 2001 Lot V MV-22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50%); Fort Worth, Texas (35%); and Amarillo, Texas (15%), and is expected to be completed by November 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $35,985,431 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract N00019-99-C-1275 to exercise an option for the procurement, installation and testing of four Anti-Surface Warfare Improvement Program kits for the P-3C Update III aircraft, including sustaining engineering and logistics services. In addition, this modification provides for the installation of five government-furnished equipment electronic flight display systems. Work will be performed in Greenville, S.C. (80%), and Eagan, Minn. (20%), and is expected to be completed in July 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics and Sensor Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $23,255,541 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-6226 to provide the Sonar/Combat Control/Architecture Subsystem for the fourth communications, command, control and intelligence system to be installed on the NSSN Virginia Class submarines. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va. (60%), and Portsmouth, R.I. (40%), and is expected to be completed by December 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Systems Co., McKinney, Texas, is being issued a not-to-exceed $21,977,000 firm-fixed-price order to manufacture 26 turret assemblies for the AN/AAS-44(V) forward looking infrared radar on H-60 aircraft. Work will be performed at McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed in June 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-006J, Order 0035).

The Boeing Co., Battle Management Command, Control and Communications and Strategic Systems, Kent, Wash., is being awarded an $11,791,383 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract N00019-00-C-0508 to exercise an option to upgrade the communication capabilities to the E-6 aircraft and trainers. Work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. (70%), and Witchita, Kan. (30%), and is expected to be completed by October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Alliant Techsystems Inc., Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, Rocket Center, W.Va., is being awarded an $8,569,740 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract N00019-97-C-0156 to exercise an option for the procurement of 178 MK-58 MOD 5 AIM-7P Sparrow missile rocket motors; 509 MK-58 MOD 4 RIM-7P surface-to-air Sparrow missile rocket motors; and four MK-58 MOD 4 igniters for the governments of Australia (73 MK-58 MOD 5), Singapore (25 MK-58 MOD 5), Jordan (80 MK 58 MOD 4), Egypt (424 MK-58 MOD 4), Turkey (85 MK-58 MOD 4) and Germany (4 MK 58 MOD 4 igniters). Work will be performed in Rocket Center, W.Va., and is expected to be completed in June 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the governments of Egypt (62.2%), Turkey (12.5%), Jordan (11.3%), Australia (10.3%), Singapore (3.5%) and Germany (.2%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

EG&G WASC Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $5,510,027 cost-plus-award-fee modification under previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-6411 to exercise an option for program management, acquisition engineering and logistic support services for the Virginia Class Submarine Program Office (PMS 450) and Submarine Electronics Systems Office (PMS 401). Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. (45%); Crystal City, Va. (45%); and Manassas, Va. (10%), and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ashland Distribution Co., Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded an $8,412,702 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for 2,427,000 gallons of fuel system icing inhibitor. Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 31, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 234 proposals solicited, and two responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-02-D-0756).

Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Co.*, Belleville, Ill., is being awarded a $5,852,342 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-quantity and delivery type contract for a maximum of 73,255/minimum of 43,950 pairs of infantry combat boots for the U.S. Marine Corps. This contract is for a base year, but includes the possibility of four one-year term options. Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 20, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year for the base year contract. There were 77 proposals solicited, and 10 responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-02-D-0318).
