AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $84,909,641 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for fiscal year 2002 procurement of 51 modular mission computer and common color multifunction display retrofit kits, 91 air-to-air interrogator retrofit kits, 101 Link 16 multifunctional information distribution system-low volume terminal and joint helmet mounted curing system group A retrofit kits and data and management effort. This action is part of the overall F-16 Common Configuration Implementation Program. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed December 2005. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98-C-0035, P00017).

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Co., King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded an $8,430,717 contract modification to provide for calendar year 2002 launch operations support, on-orbit operations and satellite storage in support of the Global Positioning System Block IIR Satellite Program. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete December 2002. The contractor will perform this effort at Cape Canaveral Air Station, Fla. (86%), and Schreiver Air Force Base, Colo. (30%). The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-89-C-0073, P00248).

ARMY

Raytheon Systems Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded on Dec. 31, 2001, $4,356,219 of an estimated $65,365,425 firm-fixed-price contract with options from fiscal year 2002 to fiscal year 2006 for TOW Improved Target Acquisition System contractor logistics support to maintain operational readiness at or above 90 percent operation readiness. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 15, 2006. Of the total contract funds, $1,645,742 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 6, 2001. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-02-C-0028).

ABB Power T&D Company Inc., Raleigh, N.C., was awarded on Jan. 2, 2001, a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a potential value of $50,000,000 for main circuit breaker replacement at various hydroelectric project sites in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Work will be performed at various dams located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana and is expected to be completed by Jan. 2, 2003. There were 50 bids solicited on Nov. 13, 2000, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACW67-02-D-1002).

Nan Inc., doing business as Ocean House Builders, Honolulu, Hawaii, was awarded on Dec. 28, 2001, a $47,766,000 firm-fixed-price contract for renovation of four three-story buildings in Quad F located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The project involves renovation, alteration and construction work for unaccompanied enlisted personnel housing, administrative, dining and soldier community functions. Work also includes site improvements, construction of a multi-purpose recreation court, covered soldier gear wash area, reconstruction of pavement for vehicular parking areas and driveways and landscaping. Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 27, 2003. There were 31 bids solicited on May 11, 2001, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Honolulu, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (DACA83-02-C-0001).

URS Group Inc., Omaha, Neb., is being awarded on Jan. 2, 2001, a basic, indefinite-delivery contract with a cumulative total of $14,900,000 for environmental services within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Northwestern Division boundaries or any existing Omaha District customer locations. Work will be performed in Omaha, Neb., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 1, 2005. There were 284 bids solicited on Dec. 12, 2000, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACA45-02-D-0003).

Limited Liability Co., Orlando, Fla., was awarded on Dec. 31, 2001, a $7,937,873 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with options for engineering services for Laser Hellfire and Longbow missiles for the United Kingdom. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., (50%), and Baltimore, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2004. Of the total contract funds, $120,767 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one bid solicited on June 27, 2001, and one bid received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-02-C-0016).

NAVY

Concurrent Technologies Corp., Johnstown, Pa., is being awarded a $5,310,332 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for continuing research and development under the Dominant Battlespace Command (DBC) Program. The contractor will perform specific tasks including user-centered design activities, continuing evaluation of prototypes in Navy/Marine Corps joint and coalition environments, developing four additional prototypes based on feedback and operational requirements, evaluating the four prototypes in an operational environment and evolving the concepts of operations, requirements and design specifications for the end objective of the DBC system. The DBC Program's ultimate objective is to extend visualization and display technologies and integrate them with emerging command, control, communication, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance concepts to evolve a system that provides dominant battlespace awareness. Work will be performed in Johnstown, Pa., and is expected to be completed by January 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Naval Research Laboratory broad agency announcement. The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00014-02-C-0039).
